Viking 4-Ply Pots and Pan Set, 9 Piece Copper Kitchen Cookware with Metal Lids

I've always wanted to have copper pots and pans in our house, because the merits of copper cookware is evident with the way Copper distributes heat. It's much more even and it conducts heat quite well.It was seemingly very difficult to find a copper set (With real copper) that was lined with stainless. Most expensive cooper cookware you buy, italian or french made, are lined with Tin. And this tin layer is very very thin, in some cases they hand wipe in the tin. So it's recommended you not use metal utensils, cleaning them is a bit more of a chore, as you don't want to scrub the interiors with a scrunge, or certainly a brass or bronze pad..With this Viking set, it's lined with Stainless. So cleaning or using metal utensils is no issue, you can treat it like any other stainless pot. The outside does need some polish or maintenance, if you want that glistening copper look, or you can just let them get that nice patina on them. You can use barkeepers friends, or lemon juice with salt, or vinegar and baking soda to take off any tarnish on the copper (if you want).Really nice set, well built, the raised handles is nice too.. I only wish Viking would make a small 1 quart and a 3 quart standalone pots, as I would certainly buy them and complete the set. Other than that, it's a VERY nicely built set and should last a lifetime.

I searched for good copper pots and pans, that are induction stove compatible, and always ended up coming with these is the end. Price seemed good amongst the copper genre and my girlfriend loves them…Item came fast and was well packed, was the best price i found for them as well.

We love to cook and thought we had great quality cookware - it was almost 20 years old so time to upgrade! I also refuse to use any non stick as I personally do not think it’s healthy so this was a great fit.It’s a stunning and beautiful set, good density but lighter than you would expect as the copper has been removed from the bottom to make this set induction cooktop friendly.It’s a large set - 9 pieces; 2 fry pans, one of which is really large; 1 sauce pan with lid and steamer insert, a sauté pan with lid and stock pot with lid. The only thing I wish it included and I might see if the piece exists is a larger steamer insert as we do like to steam our veggies.I gave this 4 stars over 5 as there are some precise rules around it including using only on low to medium heat and cleaning instructions but that said it is designed to preserve the life of the cookware.It has long handles which help as they stay cooler and give you more control and the pans appear to disperse heat evenly for an even cook. A great feature is the fact that you vs. take from stovetop to oven - I made a Frittata much more effortlessly with this set.Love the look and performance of these and with a little care, I expectsto have these for many years to come.

This is the set to get to help propel you into adulthood and impress your Family & Friends.It is so beautiful with the Copper/Rose Gold hues, heavy and well made.I almost don't want to use just to keep as decor, they are that stunning in person.My favorite piece of the whole set is the steamer, I can do vegetables, tamales, you name it and it be so easy and cook perfectly while boiling noodles below. The large pot I love also has the measurements detailed on the interior as well as one of the other larger pans-makes cooking so much easier. I haven't attempted an omelet yet but will update as to the durability and easy clean/stickiness of these pans.But these are a must have for a quality set, one that will last you forever and makes me excited to cook!Also note shipped and packaged very well in big heavy box.

I am in love with these pots and pans. I usually go for the more affordable sets and they never last as long as I'd like. This set is HEAVY duty and the quality is mind blowing. They are definitely worth the investment. I plan on having these for years to come. I haven't had any sticking problems and they heat very evenly. If you spend a lot of time in the kitchen, you will love these.

Beautifully made and very heavy duty! These earn the Viking branding. Beautiful to look at and highest quality too. Each pan is expertly crafted with riveted handles and matching lid. And for the price you get a LOT of pans!
