Perfect for Big Families
Love that I can make lots pancakes, sausage or eggs all at once! Really like it's stainless steel amd not Teflon, or another nonstick. It is pretty heavy for me to lift, so I have to have my husband lift it. Works on the kitchen stand, or the countertop with no issues. Right side is a bit cooler than the left but I think that's a "keep warm" spot. Cleans well also. Very pleased with this product, especially for the price!!

I love this griddle
This is an update. After having this griddle for several months. I have determined that this is an amazing griddle. I never liked cooking anything but I love using this. It seems to work better all the time. I wish I would have gotten the bigger one but this is doing the job. I would recommend this griddle to everyone.Ok so it is a good price for a griddle. Especially if you are not sure if you are going to use it that much.It is actually fun to make stuff on it. I just wish it would heat up faster. You have to learn to turn it on before you even start getting anything else ready. Also because it don’t heat up fast.. it is easy to get ahead of the amount of heat it will put out. So don’t put too much on the griddle at once. It’s hard for the griddle to recover and get back up to temperature. I think a 220v griddle would be better if you have the means to do that. This is the only griddle I have so I have nothing to compare it to.I like it and it is a lot of fun and some of the little quirks makes it more interesting and gives it character.

Very nice griddle!
Bought one of these for my dad, as hes been wanting one of these griddles for a while. He used to be a line cook and had experience working a real cooktop. Those garbage kitchen griddles just werent cutting it. Theyd always burn out, or the non stick coatings would start to flake. You cant get them hot enough to sear a steak, etc. So I got him this and hes been really enjoying it. Hes been frying up steaks, pork chops, bacon, burgers, and even stuff like enchiladas. And he can use his metal utensils on it with no worry about marring the surface. The only cons are that the surface heats unevenly. The heating element seems to be under 2/3rds of the cooktop with the other third only getting radiated heat from the other side. So the actual viable cooking surface is a bit smaller than expected. It is nice, however, for keeping things warm. If you're cooking a full cooktop of bacon, the left side will crisp up, while the right side stays raw. It also takes a long time to get to temp. I'm guessing that's a limitation of running on 110 volt. It also seems to fluctuate in temperature, where it will cool down rapidly and struggle for a bit to get back up to temp, but it eventually gets there.Overall, its a pretty nice griddle!

Simple yet effective
Honestly I would say it’s 4.5/5 for me. Did not like the oil it had on upon shipping, took a minute to clean it up before use & the first time heating it, it had a very strange smell. After thoroughly cleaning it, I started it up & seasoned it nicely. I like to crank it up at max heat for about 5-10 mins to get it hot & then turn to desired temp, usually 175C. The spatulas that it came with is pretty flimsy but I want a bigger one anyways. Overall it cooks very well, mainly cook breakfast stuff for a cafe, & pretty even heating throughout the flat. I use the edge area to cook eggs since it’s not as blazing hot like the middle. I say it’s pretty good for home cooks, food cart/stand operator, & possibly even for camping. After getting a good season, the grill never gets smoky or has dark spots. As for cleaning I use a grill brick & seems to do just fine, almost the same as if I was cleaning a commercial flattop. Had some reservations after reading other reviews but I say it’s a very good buy. Just like with anything you buy online, sometimes you’ll get a lemon but vevor seems to be legit

Looked good. Sounded good. But - NOT GOOD.
Bought this to use for many purposes, one of which is pancakes. So- after building a rolling cart to use in the kitchen dining area, I did the first test run. Here's what happened.First- surface of griddle cleaned thoroughly to remove any manufacturing oils or residuals- twice.Started by wiping a thin coat of vegetable oil to begin establish a seasoning on the top. This was done with the oil on a clean paper towel. To my surprise, the towel was picking up black colors. Did this several times without that ending.Decided to go ahead with a heat test. Set the controls to the 375F I use for pancakes, had a laser thermometer on hand to verify. Setting is difficult as the temps on the dial are odd numbers. The listing describes the griddle as evenly heating, something really important to consistent cooking.I keep a timer going. Tested the surface heat in a box pattern, about 4" each way from each corner, and once in the center.Time- Low temp High temp5 min 110 1358 min 129 19210 min 145 21712.5 min 190 25017 min 218 30020 min 270 340It never reached the 375 setting, heating shut off at the 340, and the heat never uniform. This is a 70 degree variation in working temps, after 20 minutes time. Nobody can cook well with that condition.Next- I dug out the old Presto brand countertop griddle I've had for 30 years, which my wife of 20 years won't use. (she's away visiting family; I had planned to surprise with some class cooking on the new griddle)Cleaned the dust off the presto, oiled it, plugged it in, set it to 375.5 minutes later it was at 370, give or take 5 degrees. I poured my pancake mix, and in a few minutes- had the same great cakes I'm used to.I hate to have to return things like this, and I have other vevor products that have been fine. This one just isn't practical to cook with.Back it goes....
