Weeds don’t stand a chance when you attack them with this tool. It is very sturdy and can handle a tough workout. I also use it for preparing the ground for new plants. Works well for digging. The handle is designed for a comfortable grip. The sheath keeps the sharp edges safe. This has been a great addition to my gardening tools.

I love this garden knife. It really comes in handy when it's time to remove plants from the garden. The blade on this knife is extremely sturdy & scary sharp. There is no flex in the blade, so it's perfect for digging in hard soil. My application is pruning, harvesting & thinning thickets of black bamboo close to the soil. The serrated edge really comes in handy for that. The handle is the right size for my plus size hands & provides great leverage & a superior grip surface. The scabbard is a convenient & welcome feature. This knife warrants a nice scabbard for safety.

This is a great garden accessory. The one weakness is the lack of a cutting hook on the side for rope and, of course, opening beer bottles. Aside from that one small issue, I am happy with it.

First time out and WOW! I'm impressed. The WORKPRO HORI HORI GARDEN KNIFE works better than I expected! It cuts through sod and grass roots like butter. It feels well made, very comfortable to use and it's definitely not flimsy. Great price for a well made product. The sheath is better than other makes I considered. It's like a semi rigid ballistic nylon. It has a snap instead of velcro (a plus IMO) to secure the tool in the sheath. Stitching looks good and it has 5 rivets around the perimeter, reinforcing the sewn seam.

I used this tool more than I used any other tool in my garden this year. Good for planting, good for transplanting, good for getting those tough roots and weeds. Good for opening bags of soil or mulch. Good for cutting twine from a bale of straw. I LOVE THIS TOOL!

I didn't know about hori hori knives until my son brought one over when he was helping me garden. I looked them up and found this one, and I had to have this pink one! It is sharp and very effective for so many gardening needs. I can saw down the roots of stubborn weeds in the garden and even grass and weeds in the driveway. It even has measurements on it, so you can see how deep you're planting bulbs. I really recommend this hori hori knife.
