Crochets beautifully
I’m making a lacy crochet shawl with this yarn. So easy to work with, doesn’t split and the few joins are not noticeable. Impressed with the quality and drape of the fabric made. Lovely gradient colours.

Not for beginners
This is fingering weight yarn, absolutely lovely but required skill to work with

Beautiful, I’m a convert
I am generally not a fan of fingering weight yarn, mostly because I find it difficult to crochet with, but this is so beautiful it has converted me. I’m about to order a third ball because they are so luscious. The picture is a simple granny shawl using a 4mm hook. I’m a substantial human at 6ft and this shawl is big enough to cover my frame so there’s enough yarn in one cake for a shawl. My height means I need shawls to be longer so I normally need more yarn and I was concerned there wouldn’t be enough. The colour transitions are the most beautiful I’ve seen in a yarn, subtle and truly invisible. The yarn is beautifully soft too which is important to me because I’m a sensitive soul when it comes to fabric. Using the 4mm makes the shawl more fluid, for a scarf or other garment you’d most likely need a 3mm so if a small hook doesn’t work for you, this might not be for you. If you pull from the centre it can knot towards the very centre, when I pull from the outside no knots, but I like centre first so I tend towards that and just deal with the knots. Overall I love this yarn, and despite the high price tag it’s a substantial amount of yarn. Oh and the invisible joins they reference are very clever, you get a sort of fluffy bit rather than a knot which when crocheted into the garment is really almost imperceptible. Just in love with this yarn.

Absolutely stunning yarn at a great price!
I have used this yarn to make many 'Virus' shawls, in many different colours. I have loved each and every one of them! The quality is 2nd to none. It works up so beautifully and is wonderful to crochet with. Soft as butter but definitely strong enough for everyday use. Looks amazing when made up, and is worth every penny! This is an earlier shawl of a different colour.

For an ombre cake yarn good value for money. No knots but it's not consistent in thickness.
Great wool and being used to make a shawl. What I would say is that although there are not any knots in it you can see where they have tried to fuse it together. So you end up with some parts that look messy. However overall the colours look lovely and it is great for shawls or scarves. I think the wool is great for value for money as these cakes can be extremely expensive from certain suppliers. It is not especially soft. That's the mix of the acrylic and cotton for a fingerling weight. However it does produce a lovely drape. .

I love this yarn, It is lovely to work with and the colour changes are so subtle. I think I have used most of the colours now.

No es tan suave como otros tipos que he provado, hice un chal triangular y el color es muy bonito, tiene tres cabos

While crocheting a shawl, there were two breaks in the yarn which is very frustrating in the middle of a project. Also, the color changes in the yarn are very sloppy. It’s not an issue for the reseller, but the manufacturer (Scheepjees). Not my favourite yarn. Thank you.
