Koh-I-Noor Magic Jumbo Triangular Coloured Pencil, Pack of 24, Multicolor

Had to buy these when a saw them. These pencils are amazing, the colours are vibrant and smooth, going to have a lot of fun trying out different ideas with them. Had colour pencils like them as a child, found this style of forever changing colour pencil fascinated to draw with, but remember feeling frustrated with their performance, scratchy, poor, dull-coloured and how hard you had to press down to get the colours to show. Lost interest in art for a while because of the poor quantity of children Art materials then, until I discovered felt tip pens, which was exactly what I was looking for, beautiful bright colours easy to draw with without getting a sore hand. Thankfully children art materials are so much better quality now a days. Supplies have eventually caught on, children will be their future customers, and some may even become great artists if given half decent material to work with.

Unlike a lot of the gimmicky multi colour pencils these pencils each contain three shades in a colour group making them surprisingly useful for hair, leaves and other subjects where random colour variation occurs. You probably won't use them on every picture you draw but they do make a very useful addition/backup to a standard set of coloured pencils.The chunky triangular barrels not only make them easy to hold and use and but also helps when you want to change shade as with a simple twist you hit one of the other shades in the pencil.As with all Koh I Noor pencils the quailty is beyond reproach with creamy colours that lay down well and barrels that are well made and beauiful to behold

I loved these but there was one thing that I didn't like... the tin! Okay, it's a wierd phobia that I have but I felt distinctly queasy to say the least when a very authentic drawing of a goldfish was there large as life on the back of the tin. I couldn't have it in the house and have had to transfer all the pencils to a pot instead. Please could the manufacturers use bursts of colour rather than drawings of specific things next time?But the actual product... lovely. Perfect for fantasy drawings, in particular, I could fill in a dress or skirt quickly and the multi colour made it look authentic instead of a flat colour.

These are going to take some getting used to. They are a lovely idea but trying to get the colours to go into the page the way you might want is proving tricky. Using the blender that's included works well, not tried zest it on it yet but I think this might work better.I'm enjoying trying with these and the greens, blues and yellows are easier to use than say the blue with red in. Very large pencil so you will need a large sharpener with these.Overall I think I will enjoy these withal it of practise!

Love these pencils, easy to hold especially as I have arthritis in my hands, easy to use and the colours are great. Good value for money. 👍👍😃

Highly delighted with them

Very interesting and tactile colouring pencils and I was intrigued by the idea of so many rainbow colours. Having now used them however I'm disappointed. Sometimes I get colours I don't want and other times I don't get the colour I wanted.... and yes I've read the guidance about using different facets to get the effects. They also have a wax crayon smell when using.They come in very nice tin with a slip case exuding quality. I'm sure they're great, but just not for me. I prefer felt pens for colouring anyway.

Arrived a day early packaged really well.don't be put off coz these are jumbo size,you can still create very fine detail with them.I bought a set of six " magic"pencils to try that I haven't stopped using yet.these are very good quality,the tin is indeed quality aswell.I'm surprised how much enjoyment I get as I colour and draw a lot.these complete my collection of coloured pencils as I now have all I need.If your undecided before you try them don't worry I promise you won't be without them!

I've been a fan of Koh-I-Noor Magic pencils since they were hexagonal shaped.. so like 15 yrs. I use them in all kinds of art & coloring and I absolutely love them. You can get a gorgeous color blend or even a 3D effect. I like that they can mimic a watercolor effect too. They are such great quality, easy to hold and use. Look best on higher quality paper and coloring books. Set also includes a blender pencil, tips & tricks and a certificate proving they are the original product made in the Czech Republic- outstanding quality. I sharpen them with a carpentry pencil sharpener I bought here on Amazon, works perfectly! The set was very well packaged, arrived in great shape and was received a month early from across the world! Great customer service, fully recommend this set and this seller! (All photos done with these pencils alone except a few Gelly Roll pens for sparkle:)

Tonos super intensos y excelente sobre diversos papeles.

I love these pencils. They are filled with color surprises. You never know what your are getting. You can get several shades just by rotating the pencil as you color. I use them for backgrounds when I can't decide what to do or I have an object that needs a color but I can't decide on a color combination. So I pick up one of these and off I go. The only problem with these pencils is to find a sharpener that has a hole big enough for them. The hexagonal version isn't a problem because they are in between these pencils and the tritone pencils. I may have to resort to using my utility knife but that's okay. They are worth the effort. I recommend these for when you want a break from serious coloring and just want to have fun.
