If your original mounting hardware is in good shape, you won't need the black mounting brackets that come attached to these headlamp assemblies. Carefully pry them off. I mean Carefully. You will need the small gold anodized mounting ball screws (with the Phillips heads) removed from the new black assemblies. The picture shows the original ball screws with heads that are slightly smaller then the gold anodized ones, that can be removed with a 10mm wrench. If you use the original screws (depicted), the inboard side of each headlamp may be a little wobbly, as the new white plastic sockets on the back of the headlamps are a little larger than original, thus requiring the switch.So be careful when removing your old headlamps, and you won't have to replace all of the mounting hardware. Also, a little dab of grease on the three ball mounts allows you to easily pop the new headlamps in place. It might be a good idea to get new Sylvania # 9003 H4 bulbs for your shiny new fixtures, and keep the old bulbs as spares. Good luck!

I do not know if it is easier to install or not because I took these to a mechanic for installation. Nevertheless, it made my car look like new and these appeared to be of high quality. Time will tell how long the UV coating on them lasts that is there to prevent discoloration.

Just remmeber that bulbs are not included, itger than that it's a great full replacement for way cheaper than other places.

Bit difficult to install, had to take off the front bumper to take off old ones and put new ones but other than that, it was relatively easy.

The housing themselves are definitely pretty good for the money. I’ll update if they hold up to the weather. The bracketing, oh man this is the bad part. Very poor construction with brittle plastic and very easy to snap during install, let alone road vibration etc. Highly recommend taking both left and right brackets off the old assembly and using those. It’s 2 screws and a clamp to pull the old one off the headlight housing. Side note for pro-mode install, Toyota hid a screw on the outer side of the assembly under the bumper housing, meaning to properly get at it you have to drop the bumper. Don’t do this! Just pry back the upper portion of the bumper vinyl and use a 10mm wrench to unscrew it…I didn’t replace that screw because the bracket was solid without. Good luck!
