reads and writes with good speeds.
very easy to set up with only two cables and for the price is very very worth it as it has good read and write speeds and rarely doesn't connect but I think that's down to the drive and not the reader itself and also is the perfect size to fit on-top of my PC tower and it looks like its part of the PC but that's likely just a coincidence.

SABRENT USB 3.0 to SATA External Hard Drive Docking Station
Okay, so I picked up this SABRENT USB 3.0 to SATA External Hard Drive Docking Station, and honestly? It’s such a lifesaver. I had like a million random files sitting on old hard drives, and this thing made it super easy to access them. No tools, no hassle—just plug it in, and boom, instant storage solution. The best part? It’s FAST. Like, ridiculously fast. I’m talking up to 5 Gbps transfer speeds when paired with USB 3.2. So whether I’m backing up my music, movies, or—yeah, let’s be real—my endless stream of memes, this docking station totally handles it without breaking a sweat. Plus, it supports drives up to 22TB. Like, who even has that much stuff? But hey, it’s nice to know I’ll probably never run out of space.Oh, and it works with Windows, Mac, and Linux, so no matter what device you’ve got, it’ll play nice. If you’re looking for a docking station that’s simple, fast, and actually does what it promises, this is the one. Seriously, 10/10 would recommend to anyone who’s tired of juggling old drives.

SO easy to get it up and running.
I got a new computer recently and before getting rid of the old one he removed the hard drive. I didn’t think that I would need it again, but I recently realised I needed something off it. So I asked my son was there any way that I could get something to turn this into an external drive. He pointed me towards this. It’s not to small or too large.. I plugged it into the mains and connected it to a USB drive on my computer and up it popped as a new external drive. It was as simple as that and I was then able to access the Data that I required. It can take two hard drive and even more functionality. It looks good, but it is of a slight build. It doesn’t need to be big and bulky as it’s really just two slots for hard drives.

Works on Win11and USB 2 as well as USB3
It works fine with Windows 11 and also on USB2. This info should be included in the description as there is only talk of USB3 which is faster than 2 but it is fast enough for me on USB2. My only concern is that getting to grips with a 2.5inch drive, so as to remove it from the caddy, is a little difficult as I have large hands, but I managed. Managed to sort through a collection of SSD and HDD drives all SATA without any problem. Would recommend.
