Effective and you get a lot for the money so good value too
I used this along with wire and exhaust wrap to secure and seal the leaky exhaust on my mom's ancient Camry, before and after the catalytic converter and before the muffler, and it worked great for that. First the wire to secure the pipe, then the putty, then, when it dried and cured, the wrap. My only complaint is that it takes a while to dry in colder temps, and you can't cure it by running the car because the exhaust will punch holes in it. So you'll have to be patient with it. Plus it's a bit messy, but all putties are.

To my surprise, It did work!
It was try this, or spend $465.00 on a new Catalytic Converter. I had a hole a size of a quarter. I used some window screen and sealer to fill hole. So far it is working. It does set up hard. One tip, it starts to set up in one minute, so be prepared to fix quickly...it reminds me of the way bondo sets up. Example, have tools ready to tighten clamps after pipe assembly...or in my case, have patch material ready after applying base layer to place material and immediately apply top coat. To soon to tell just how long it will hold...but no reason to think it isn't a permanent fix! I'm happy.

It does it's job! Needs more time to cure in colder weather
Needed to quickly patch a small 2-3mm hole in a muffler and this did the trick! So far it's been about 2 months and it's still on there like cement. What I did not find useful were the instructions, I found that if you wet the surface before applying it will create a sludge that will not set. Also, running the car immediately after application is a bad idea, depending where the hole in the exhaust system is. The force of the exhaust pressure will push through the putty and not seal the hole. What I found works best is to leave it overnight and in the morning run the car for 20 minutes, let cool and that's it! Hopefully it holds up for a long time!

Did not work
I am usually not a person who writes bad reviews, but this stuff did not work. I did everything the directions including prep work application and dry time. Thought the problem was fixed but 2 days later the noise was back and when I checked the muffler the sealant had blown out of the cracks. Please see photo. I am going to contact the company and attempt to get a refund.

For small holes only
Got this with the hopes of salvaging the muffler on my truck. Had a couple pin holes and a larger crack along a seam. It doesn’t seem to tell you what the largest recommended hole for repair with this product is. The issue I ran into with this product is it recommends that you “bake it on” by running the vehicle or you can let it dry 24 hrs. After I applied the product I started the engine as recommended and the stuff blew out the hole. My guess is I was trying to patch too big an area in one shot. I will try and reapply to the area where it slumped and blew out, and maybe it will work after several applications/derby times,
