Got my USB2 front ports back!
I bought a PCI WiFi card for my desktop that included Bluetooth, but in order to use BT you have to connect the card to an internal USB header. Since my Lenovo M93 had no free internal USB headers I had the choice to disconnect my front panel USB ports or not use the BT function of the card. Enter option 3.The TGOOD 9 pin USB splitter worked perfectly. letting me connect the BT functionality on the card and giving me back my 2 front USB 2 ports. To install it I used the method another review suggested. I shut down the PC and connected the splitter board and booted up and let it be detected. After it finished installing I shut down again and connected the front USB port cable and booted. Then I shut down and connected the BT cable to the WiFi card and booted back up and everything worked. I can now use my front USB ports for charging and data transfer and my BT works great.IMPORTANT: This paragraph is what I did, if you try this without understanding it you may fry your computer.Lenovo, and several other manufacturers, use 11 pin USB headers and this is clearly listed as a 9 pin splitter, it works fine for me on my 11 pin USB header. Lenovo uses these 2 pins for GPIO detect and I just omitted connecting the pins altogether. They are for presence detection and it turned they were unnecessary in my configuration but in some cases not having them connected can cause the USB ports to disable themselves after the system boots. Jumpering the 2 pins can resolve that. If none of this makes sense, don't fry your computer listening to me, but for people wondering if this will work on an 11 pin header, it works great in my case. The included pictures show what is described above in case it is not clear, use at your own risk and enjoy!I definitely recommend this TGOOD USB 2.0 splitter.

Does the Job
Bought this because I needed an extra header for a wifi/bluetooth card. My motherboard only had two headers and one was taken up by the CPU cooler, the other the front USB. I would follow advice from other reviewers - don't share your CPU cooler header if at all possible.Install was simple - I followed the steps posted by others. Install the adapter to motherboard but don't put anything on the adapter, then restart, wait for windows to load, then shut down and install your two USB headers on the adapter and restart again.Others have said that the power is too low for bluetooth. I have not encountered that yet - I tested with several pairs of earbuds/headphones and an XBox controller and had no issues. Remains to be seen if power issues will pop up after time - I have only had this installed for a few days. It's fragile so be careful where you drop it or shove it. I have room underneath the PSU shroud so I just tucked it in there. For the ten bucks I paid, it more than does the job. Recommended.

Extremely useful USB splitter for motherboards, great price, works perfectly
It is 2020. Motherboard manufacturers should include this part by default. Over the last two decades I have built well over 500 PC rigs. I have utilized hundreds of M-ATX, E-ATX, ATX, (etc) cases from numerous vendors and very rarely does the case possess a single USB connection to the motherboard, most come with 2 or 3.I recently built a gaming rig for a giveaway on my Twitch stream. I utilized the Thermaltake P3 wall mountable case. This case came with *TWO* USB headers to connect to the motherboard. Again, most motherboards possess a single USB header for front panel IO. I did not want to send this to some lucky winner with only 2 out of 4 USB ports working on the front of the Thermaltake case. The included photos are the rig upon assembly and right before shipping.I purchased this 9pin USB Header Male 1 to 2 Female Extension Splitter Cable Connector Adapter to solve my problem. This adapter simply splits the header into two and allows you to connect all of your case's front panel USB headers. This does not require any driver installs to work. You plug it in and it is quickly recognized by your OS.It comes with double sided tape on the back of the adapter so you can install it inside your case and place it in a safe location.I appreciate the price on this item and the overall usefulness. I would recommend this to anyone building a PC rig.

Idk why I bought it
Legit don’t know why I even owned this just found it in my room one day. Worked really well for powering my USB ports and installing PCIe wifi adapter on an old motherboard that for some reason had 10 sata ports but only 1 usb pin connector.

Does The Job But...
I got this so I could install my Wi-Fi/Bluetooth card and main RGB controller hub. My motherboard only has one slot left and using this works to connect my Wi-Fi card and RGB controller hub. It works but doesn't deliver enough power for the Bluetooth on my Wi-Fi card to work.Loses a star regarding the power delivery but if you are wanting to connect other stuff that doesn't require much power then this item is for sure a must buy to assist on splitting one connection into two.

Works perfectly, and has a perfect length cable.
I have an AIO and RGB controller, that both require a free USB2 header to the motherboard. Unfortunately, as many of you know, most motherboards only have 1 or 2 at most. Since my case uses one of the two headers, that left me one short for the AIO and controller. I using this splitter, I was able to successfully connect both my AIO and RGB, and both are working perfectly. Now that I have said what a good product this is, I would still recommend a different option for my specific use case, which is a simple USB header to dual micro usb cord solution. In my newer system, I elected to use that because I don't like the idea of having another piece of electronics that may fail or short out due to exposed components. However, if you need this type of splitter specifically, I highly recommend this one due to it's quality.
