Used these to build an Enclosure for a 3d printer, all the pieces were in good shape and seemed like high quality

These came wrapped so the black didn’t get scratched. Fast and reliable seller. Beautiful and ready to be built.

Most of the time I see these rails they are described as used to build 3D printers. But they have a wide variety of uses including furniture and converting vans into mobile homes. They are essentially like erector sets, you can build things yet easily change them or attach/unattach, etc. I haven't used this material alot yet but can see the potential. Usually the description doesn't tell what exactly they are made of or if there is any difference. For the most part they all appear to be the same aluminum structure. It's more a matter of price and how well they were machined. There is one misunderstanding, 80/20 is NOT a type of aluminum or rail. It is a company logo, period and has nothing to do with what you want to find. The numbers 2020, 4040, etc are the size of rail plus linear measurement.I like this set although can't build a lot with just this amount but a good start. It has a good coating, is straight and good edges.

These are an excellent quality with a powdered coated look to them; flat black. Fine, smooth surface. They look great!They are precisely cut to the proper length (400 mm in my case) and they are perfectly straight. All of the measurements in the diagram are within .01 mm (which is within the error of my digital caliper; accuracy is ±.02mm). Each one weighed 166.5 g.If you're building a new machine (CNC or printer) make sure you measure the size you need before ordering. I find it easiest to use them at the length ordered (or order them at the length needed). Cutting them can be easily done but to keep them straight and looking great care should be taken. Watch some videos online if you haven't cut these types of rails.This is an excellent choice.

Good strength and overall quality on these aluminum pieces. Black anodization looks good and is somewhat scratch resistant. The T slot pieces I have fit the channels perfectly and the pieces are almost totally flat. These are straight enough to use for a frame or for an add on to a 3D printer or CNC rig.I have some 2020 end caps that fit well in the holes at the ends. So the overall dimensions seem good and I'm happy with this set of four 600mm pieces. Packaged very well and arrived in perfect condition.

I've bought quite a few of these over the last 6 months, and what keeps me coming back is that they're clean right out of the packaging. No funky tape that kinda sorta catch the metal shards from cutting, these are 100% clean. Every 4 pack is wrapped in paper in a way so the extrusions don't rub while shipping, and then, they're packing in a bubble bag. If I have to gripe about something, it's that the center hole doesn't appear to always be consistent in size. I like buying the same things repeatedly so that I know it all works together. The little caps I get fit extrusions from another manufacturer consistently, but not from here. Sometimes I need to glue them in, else they'll fall out with little to no handling. Given the cleanliness though, I keep buying these.

These 600mm aluminum extrusions look great and are definitely higher quality. The black finish on them looks really sleek and they are very clean with all of the edges. They measured perfectly for me as well.In general they are really nice and would recommend them. I'll be using them in a custom 3D printer build and given the quality I'm seeing here I'm likely to buy more from this manufacturer down the line.

The extrusions arrived quickly and well packaged, but they're not T-slot, they're V-slot.
