I have been using this professional thinning chunker shear for a few weeks now, and I am happy to relate my actual experience as well as how it has improved the process of grooming my animal companions. You can't go wrong with these scissors for the price. I used to groom professionally, but now that I just do it on occasion, I can't justify dropping over a hundred dollars for the high dollar grooming scissors that I used to buy. These actually cut really well even though they're not very expensive. Don't get me wrong, there's an obvious difference in the feel and the smoothness of the scissors, but they get the job done just fine.

I really liked using these. Light weight, comfortable and do a good job. I keep a few pairs of each types of shears at work. These are my 2nd curved ones and they worked great. This is the first doodle I used them on and his top knot came out great! Would totally recommend these shears. Plus I love how sleek they look.

The scissors do not stay sharp enough for long enough.

So I have 12 years of Grooming experience. I bought these as a quick replacement for my shears that needed to get sharpened. These are sharp, a fair price, but they aren’t even. Not sure if I should keep them or send them back yet. They would be good for home use, but not for everyday in the shop. They don’t cut like I need them to because the blades aren’t even. It’s hard to explain what I’m talking about but when you open and close then the contact points aren’t always in contact.

Quite pleased with my choice. The quality of the scissors is impressive, with a sharp, precise cut, and the ergonomic design makes them comfortable to use. The inclusion of a case and maintenance accessories in the package is a thoughtful touch. Overall, this has been a satisfactory buy.

colors are very striking! needed to get a pair that wouldn't hurt my pockets and these were perfect! avoid dropping them as best you can because I'm sure they may not hold up as best once you drop them one too many times. Overall good for the value!

Love these.To be clear, I am not a dog groomer nor do I claim to even be very good at grooming my own dog, but there are occasions when there needs to be a trim in between times and I'd seen groomers use these ... so I thought they'd be a good thing to have.Firstly, they are a great weight, nice and comfortable and feel natural to cut with.Secondly ... and quite importantly, when I practiced a bit on our pet, they didn't back away, which is what happens when they see the regular scissors, but instead sat there quite calmly.Finally, these cut beautifully, all the way to the tip!Very happy with them - hope this helps.
