Fine-Instrument Cleaners

They do a good job removing the wax. The little pick that you get in a cleaning kit does not due the job, at least for my hearing aids. A little pricey, though. They are longer than they need to be but do work well. They remind me of the tooth floss used by people who wear braces. I wonder if that type of floss is less expensive? They would definitely do the same job.

These are the best. Our audiologist recommended these, and they pull the wax right out. Excellent product at a great price.

I love these cleaners. It has made cleaning my ear molds so much easier. They go right through and clean out the wax with no issues. The thin wire I had been using is the past was hard to get around the curves and didn’t get the shaft completely cleaned or cleared. Will buy again.

Works on my hearing aids.. I thought they would be a little stiffer.

These would probably be better for larger size heating aids but was using to clean tubes/ear molds for toddler. I had to try several before I got one in the hole and through (often they would bend and I could not make it through), but is a better option than other ways I’ve attempted to clean.

PRO:I've worn a hearing aid since the mid-70's. None of the products I've used did a good job of cleaning ear wax from the sound tube (or whatever it's called) and particularly the air vent. The long, thin plastic leads on both ends of this cleaner snake through both the sound tube and the tiny air vent. It's necessary to fiddle a bit with the cleaner for it to go around the bends in the audio tube, but that's a minor inconvenience. The cleaner stretches, but it goes back to its original length.CON:None that I've found.Bottom line: This is product every hearing aid user needs.

Very flimsy. It’s no thicker than dental floss. Totally unusable if you are trying to use it to clean earbuds for hearing aids. It has a wire on each end that bends as soon as you try to get it in the hole. Waste of money.
