Works perfect as a beauty dish and if you need a small rounded soft box it work very good too.

Love everything about this modifier except assembling it. It leaves the studio from time to time and every time I have to assemble it I hate it. Once it is up and ready, it gives every other beauty dish brand a run for its money. It it very portable and works like a charm.

Good value for tge money. As another reviewer stated, the sockets for screwing in the dish are hidden under the fabric, bt they ate there. But i use mine with the inner and outer defusing fabric and leave it installed permanently for location shoots

The media could not be loaded.  I thought it didn't work because I couldn't find where to put the screw, but there are two holes to put the screws, they are hidden and I show them in the video! It's a very good product of great quality, I highly recommend it!

I finally went to use this today. This was really hard to put together. I didn’t want to force it but I really had to. I wish I had opened it sooner because it was missing the little plastic end to one of the spokes, and I think I have missed the return window, I paid enough for this thing that I expected it to not come broken and missing pieces. I wish I had just bought a wescott or another good brand. More expensive, yes, but much better quality.

Overall, this beauty dish looks and feels like a great product. I am a seasoned flash photographer and I have a bunch of lighting modifiers. This one feels just as good as the more expensive ones that I have. The only problem I see with this beauty dish is that it was shipped to me without the screws to attach the center deflector plate. I’ve never had this issue before when ordering from Amazon so I am not sure of the proper steps to take to make this right. I searched this page and the seller’s site for a “contact us” link but no such luck. The only thing I can think to do is send it back for a replacement and hope that all the accessories will come next time. All in all, I would feel comfortable recommending this to anyone looking for a great compact beauty dish. I just hope that I can get the attention of someone that can fix this small issue.Update: I sent this product back and received a new one and all in all, this is a phenomenal beauty dish for the price. Since receiving it, I have used it on every single shot I have done in some way. This was definitely a great investment!

El producto llego antes de lo acordado, muy bien empacado y sin daño alguno, todas las piezas como en su publicación, extremadamente facil de armar, un poco rígidas las varillas pero creo así debe ser, eso no impidió el armado y desarmado, el material se siente de buena calidad, espero usarlo este fin de semana, volveria a comprar.

Everything is good quality, set up is quick and easy, it looks the part and delivers. Will buy another when needed.

J'utilise beaucoup cette softbox (photos de portrait en extérieur). Belle diffusion de la lumière et semble solide. Par contre le système pour la fixation du réflecteur en métal s'est cassé assez rapidement. Bon au final ça ne change pas grand chose, et c'était pas très pratique. Si on n'utilise pas ce réflecteur, on peut laisse les 2 diffuseurs attachés, donc le montage est très rapide.... Un peu lourd par contre

This is my first soft box so I can't compare it to others but first impressions are good. The build quality is very high and I'm especially pleased that the rods attach to the bowens mount with metal clips rather than plastic found on some of the similarly priced options (I paid EUR70). It sits securely in the bowens mount. It can be very quickly assembled although the last few clips required some finger strength considering the tension. If anything is going to break, it'll either be the plastic clip at the other end of the rod or the fabric that it holds on to but it seems well stitched and hopefully lasts. That said, even if I collapse six of the clips, the soft box fully holds its shape so one or two breaking won't matter.It includes two white diffusers and a black grid so it's possible to control the light as much as you need. The inner diffuser quickly attaches with domes/snaps and the front diffuser and grid attach easily with hook and loop (can we say velcro?). I have the 60cm version, which is 61cm wide and 23cm deep. It's described as 30.5cm deep but that's the length of the curved rod so it's even more compact than I was expecting. It comes with a nicely padded carry bag with two zips making it easy to pack away. Considering the size, the speed of assembly, and quality of the build, this is suitable as a travelling soft box or as one to pack away if space is a premium.Delivery was quicker than expected, arriving from the UK to central Europe in five days, including the weekend.For the price, I can't see any downsides. I'm very pleased and for my needs - simple video and some indoor portrait photography - this is more than enough. I considered buying the Aputure Light Dome Mini II but couldn't justify spending twice the price and now that the Ambitful has arrived, I think I made the right decision.Paired with Neewer CB60 and Walimex Pro GN-806.
