All the features I need - See update on performance issue
I really like this clock. Due to the location of where I need the clock, I don't expect it to be receiving any radio signals. It is keeping accurate time. It is a good size for where I need to keep it.It has a nice display and all of the features I need, unusual to find in a small clock:month, day, date, temperature. The fact that it takes 2 AA batteries means it is fully powered as contrasted with clocks that take only AAA batteries. As far as setting, there are not 1 but 2 enclosed brochures with clear step-by-step instructions, making setup fast and easy for me.I also like the push button on the top so I can refer to the time in the dark.UPDATE 1 April 24, 2024Although I keep this clock in a location where I'd not have expected radio signals to reach it, I did leave the radio control on in the settings. For a few weeks it kept perfect time, and the display showed the clock was picking up the radio signal. The clock also switched itself to Daylight Savings Time without my help. So far, so good.A few days ago, however, I noticed the clock time was hours off and the day and date were incorrect.Went into Settings and it appeared that the time zone I'd set had changed on its own.The batteries were new but replaced them and reset everything from scratch. Next day again the day, date, and time were all off.Went into Settings and disabled the radio control. So far, the clock is again keeping the correct time but now there is no radio control. Not sure what happened to cause the issue, after the clock had worked perfectly for the first few weeks.

Smart, Big Display, Good Alarm and Quick Atomic Setting
The display is big and easy to read and I like the AUTO LIGHT feature now that I know how it works. That is, the backlight comes on in a dark room so you can see the time from your bed without having to touch the clock.I returned my first clock because the display was flickering. I thought it was a loose wire. I realized later that this was just the AUTO LIGHT feature operating properly in marginal light conditions. So, don't return the clock if it's flickering. If this bothers you, turn of the AUTO LIGHT feature with the switch on the back. But if you do this, you won't get backlighting in a dark room.I also noticed that the setting button doesn't seem to work right after the batteries are installed but works eventually. I'm still trying to figure out why. Wait and try the settings button later before assuming the setting button doesn't work. The alarms start with 1 beep and escalate every 10 seconds for 30 seconds to a steady series of beeps. I like it! I don't get a coronary when the alarm comes on! Snooze delays the alarm for 8 minutes. The clock easily synched with the atomic clock in a west-facing window on the west coast. The clock is 1" thick and the base is 1-1/4" thick which seems pretty thick for modern technology. That doesn't bother me.I originally only intended to get 1 clock but I like it so much that I'm ordering another one so I don't have to keep moving this one between the 2 places I use it!

Don't buy - EDIT: It's now a DO buy
The user interface is difficult to use. After working correctly for a few days, it stops getting the time signal and instead shows an absurd date and time.EDIT: Placing the clock in a different location fixed the problem - it consistently gets the time signal! Somehow, the user interface now seems better as well.

Quit working in 8 months!
I would not buy this, it quit working after 8 month! It has started changing times daily, I have to set it every morning to the correct time, and every evening the clock changes to half hour or hours off from the correct time. I replaced the batteries, still no luck. I am trying to reach their support page, but the page wants to open in outlook, with an outlook account. Seems kind of stange to me, as I can not contact the manufacturers support page. This clock was not dropped, the other day, it just changed date, time, and year, requiring me to change it back to the correct date.time. and even the year.

Amazing Travel Alarm Clock
This is an amazing little travel alarm clock - and a great back up alarm for home too. I love, love, love that the time can be set automatically and accurately (atomic time set - not easy to find, but worth every penny!) and it's got a reasonably small footprint for bedside tables. Big numbers are great for readability, and I find the brightness good for nighttime. If you're looking for a room clock, this isn't it. Go get a nice, big wall clock for that. But for it's purpose (travel or back up clock) it's perfect. The sound isn't super loud, but it's definitely audible enough and annoying enough that you won't fall back asleep - which is the point. I highly recommend it.

Poor accuracy, resets periodically
First of all the good: the design, features and UX of the clock are very good. I like the night light, dual alarm etc. - all very useful. However, for me none of that is very relevant if it doesn't perform it's basic function, which is to be a reliable alarm clock.First, the time drift is barely acceptable, losing maybe a minute a week. That shouldn't be an issue because it has an atomic clock receiver right? Yes, it would be great if I could get it to acquire a signal anywhere in my house, ideally the bedroom. But I've never been able to get it to sync.Second, every week or so, it seems to reset in the middle of the night, causing the alarm to not go off and making me miss morning appointments. And then I have to set up the time again. All in all, a great clock if you don't care about having an alarm clock that works reliably.
