I use sketchbooks daily & my biggest concern is how well the paper will hold up to different mediums. I ab-so-lute-ly ♥ the quality & thickness of this paper.It is thick, sturdy & holds up to watercolor without buckling. Sadly I gave one of the books away as a gift: I won't be doing that next time....Yes! I will purchase these again.

My 8 year old was asking for a sketch pad with a hard cover so it doesn’t bend when he puts it in his desk or backpack. This is perfect and he loves it! I gave him one now and when he’s done with it I’ll give him the second one! He takes it everywhere with him! Highly recommend.

This paper is great, nice texture good size, I tried acrylic paint with the paper and it didn’t bleed through I don’t know about wetter paint such as watercolor

This has become my favorite sketchbook. I love how sturdy the paper is, you can erase and not have to worry about tearing the paper. The paper has a little bit of tooth, just enough to grab the graphite. For sure going to repurchase.

These are surprisingly beautiful for the price. I got them for my kids Easter baskets to use as scrapbooks and I know they will love them.

The hardcover PU moleskin and elastic closure band make it look like something really special. The paper also takes non-photo blue sketch pencils and white erasers pretty well.I did try working the paper with multiple layers of watercolor and that was a really, really bad idea. The colors don't blend or lift like they do with the cold-pressed paper. And the pages warp.This is a good mixed-media paper that will likely take pencils, charcoals, pens, and single-layer watercolors really well. I think wetter medias like wet-on-wet watercolor and alcohol markers will destroy the paper.I wish Artisto would make a 140 lbs watercolor paper in this sketchbook style and size, because that would be my go-to art journal.

I am 100% not a professional artist, but I have been sketching for a couple of years. This paper was horrible. And it’s like looking at a fluorescent light. It needs a different tint. It’s like drawing on the paper that you put into a photocopier.
