Finally found a really good butter knife that has all the features I was looking for: It’s a nice length with a fat ergonomic candle, so very easy to grip. It’s wide enough to butter without being too wide so just the right amount of pressure for spreading. Most importantly, It has just the right amount of flex for spreading without being flimsy. Lastly, while the edge is not serrated it is super sharp for cutting cold butter… So be careful.

It's going to take some practice. It does NOT work well with cold butter straight out of the fridge. Will try one at room temp. Seems to be defeating the purpose. But I think it will be fun to have fancy butter and will try again soon.

This works great on frozen butter it cuts the time down immensely to be able to spread or use the butter in baking!

Tried it on frig butter. Did not work well. Cannot do all those gyrations to get it to cut as others have listed. Family member is 86 and needs something that will cut well and quickly without a lot of force.Had to return it in the end. Well made as far as materials - steel.

UPDATE: I had to lower the rating because after only a few weeks of use it is already starting to rust. It has rust spots in three plalces!ORIGINAL REVIEW:The knife is okay. It doesn’t work as shown on the video and that’s because the knife is too thick to slice or shave the butter that thinly. I expected it to shave off delicate strips of butter so that it would look pretty and spread easily, or at least melt faster. It doesn’t.So — it’s fine as a regular butter knife but doesn’t do anything special so not worth the price.

Bought this as a Christmas present and thought it would make using our hard butter sticks easier. Turns out that the knife ONLY works if you are left handed due to how they have designed the blade.I thought that I might be wrong but if you look at the picture of the knife, it is being used by a left handed person. Well, most of the population is right handed and it will not work using your right hand.This would be fine for you lefties. ;-)Maybe they could make a right handed version of this. Big oversite

It’s well made and I like that it’s all stainless steel.

Nice looking, good product, it just don’t cut or spread the butter though.

Nice versatile knife. Good size for making sandwiches etc.
