Dried up very fast i comparison to the black color. I have used Trish mascara for years and only black- wanted to love this new color, but the formulation sucks.

This may be the worst mascara I've ever tried. It is super dry and it is impossible to build up on your lashes. It made my lashes look worse than they did without any mascara at all. It is such a shame because the color is really nice but the formula and the brush just aren't good. And it certainly isn't worth $34.

I’ve definitely used better mascaras but this one is not the worst. First, the color is called “deep aubergine,” and right out of the tube it looks like a maroon color, but it wears more like a warm brown. Great for a more subtle or natural look. Overall it does not make much of a statement when worn-there does not seem to be really any volumizing or lengthening effect with 2 coats—it just coats the lashes in color and that’s it. I included a photo of the tube of mascara compared to the one I typically use. This is a small container of mascara; I would’ve hoped to get more for the cost of it. This did perform well for about 14 hours of wear. When it comes to removal, this mascara did wash off easily with my cerave face wash. You can definitely tell it’s tubing mascara when removing it-as it just slid off the lashes easily once wet and did not leave any residue or pigment behind. All in all-I can see myself reaching for this mascara if I want a “no makeup” makeup look but otherwise it’s just not my vibe.

It's been a while since I have worn mascara. It did not matter which brand I bought I would get the same results of burning, irrated eyes. It got so bad when I wore mascara my eyes would get so watery I had to grab a tissue with cool water to rinse my eyes and wipe the mascara off. I gave up wearing it. When I saw this Trish McEvoy beauty product offered on Amazon I thought I would give it a try. I am so glad I did. I liked the sleek slim mascara tube which was lightweight making it easier to hold and apply the product. I actually prefer that the wand is thin and petite as it made putting the mascara on my eyelashes more precise. I have always preferred to wear just a little of mascara on my eyes to give them a pop of color and this mascara does that. Just applying 2 light coats was plenty for me and looks more natural. The color of deep aubergine is almost like a plumish brown color on me which is much nicer than just a regular brown. The most important thing for me though is that it has not irrated my eyes. There has been no burning or discomfort on my eyes wearing it. It looks natural and will make your lashes oh so pretty. It also washes off easily. I'm so happy I can wear mascara again.

First of all, I love the color that I got! It is a dark brown which works great with my coloring. The brush is not super bristly, more individual spikes which is not what I am used to. So.. for application it takes a little more work to spread evenly across my lashes. The feeling on my lashes is interesting. It stays on for a long time and resists my rubbing my eyes, but when you first put it on and for a little while after it feels a little sticky which is kind of weird. When I wash it off at night with water and my special towel, it comes off easy but more breaks up into pieces instead of just whipping off on the towel. In terms of volume, I’m not sure that it gives my lashes much, more just a little subtle coloring.

I was a bit apprehensive in ordering. To me, aubergine is a deep purple, aka eggplant. Somewhere in the write up it said it was more of a brown. Happily, it was… a reddish brown. My second concern, being that I usually wear black/blackest-black, is that I would look washed out. Totally not the case. In fact, I preferred it to the black because it gave lash definition, but looked a bit more natural. As for going on, again, I was worried. It’s a teensy-tiny brush. Way different than most of the drugstore wands. Again, I actually preferred it. Smooth application, I was able to tease out the lashes better, and I had no clumpiness. I will add I am no makeup expert…. Foundation, mascara, and lipstick is all I do. So for my needs, I was really pleased. Would consider buying this again. UPDATE: I've been using this for several months now, and I really do prefer this tiny brush. No clumpiness! Really impressed.

I do not like the mascara. The brush is terrible and you need multiple passes to ensure the color is adhering to your lashes. To me the biggest issue here is the brush. While it says it’s volumizing, I find it doesn’t do much for my lashes at all! Skip this one if you’re looking for a good tubular volumizing masacara.

I was very dissapointed in this product. The tube is tiny as is the brush and I felt the colour didn’t reflect the description.

I had high hopes for this mascara given the maker. However, it is one of the worst mascaras I have ever used. It’s really dry which makes it difficult to apply. It’s almost like it’s been used or left open. The colour isn’t deep at all and gives no volume to lashes. Waste of money!
