Strong magnets and strong coating

These magnets are very strong. I used them for a knife holder. Very strong for how small they are. 1 holds a knife very well.

I built a console for my golf cart with a hinge hatch to access stereo and electronics associated wiring. The hatch was secured with three strips of Velcro. Occasionally, over rough terrain the hatch would pop open. I replaced the Velcro with three of these magnets and the hatch has not popped open once. And yes, I'm still chasing my ball into rough areas.

After installing the first set, it took two hands to open the cabinet door. I ended up adding felt bumpers to separate the magnets a little. One of the magnets cracked while being installed, but it still worked. They also came in a glob and not stacked, actually made them easier to separate. Easy to install after pre-drilling the holes.

I used these as cabana drape tie backs. They are really good magnates. They hold my tent camping cabana curtains back during the day. It's easier than have a tie for guests to fuss with. And magnates are fun.

They came nice packaged and we’re easy to apply. The screws had new problem penetrating through wood. The magnet it self was sturdy and had a strong connection to metal. It worked perfectly for the back of our decorative sign for the front door!

These things just works great for all my little projects.

The magnets do what they are supposed to do, the finish is well done, no concern there. That said, for me, there are 2 issues that limit my ability to use them.First, they are not particularly strong. If two magnets are touching each other + to - they are strong enough for my application (holding pocket doors closed). However the pull when they are only separated by a millimeter or two is way too weak, not enough to move the doors.Second and most important, the magnets are designed to only be attached one way. On one side, there is an indentation that corresponds to the shape of the screw head and enables the screw to be flush with the magnet. On the other side, no such indentation, it's flat, which means that if you are trying to attach the magnet that way the screw will protude. Magnets attach + to - and that means I need to be able to attach one one way on one door and the other the other way on the other door. Not possible. Don't understand how they expect the magnets to be used...

Exactly what I was looking for

They were supposed to come packed with (plastic??) spacers in between each magnet....look at the pics in the advert description. The gist is that the spacers help a person separate one magnet from another, by sliding it off of the one below (due to a slight separation between the two magnets.) Without the spacers, it would be almost impossible to slide one magnet off another, one on top of the other, flush. My package came with two layers of 5 magnets, each magnet overlapping one or two others underneath, by 1/3 of the magnet size....which still allowed me to slide them off. However, I have strong hands. Regardless, these magnets are incredibly strong, smooth sided, and can hold alot of weight. I guess I will jerry rig a spacer....perhaps with a plumbers plastic washer??? We shall see. However, Mega strong magnets!!! And they appear very well made. I give it a 4.5 stars

I expected more from the product after reading the descriptions also took forever. I’m like saying forever and ever and ever to arrive and I live in the British Columbia lower mainland where Amazon has one of the Canadian warehouse hubs nearby should’ve arrived immediately. I waited and waited and waited I don’t think they were strong as advertised that’s my only disappointment on them otherwise price was OK arrived very slow
