his kate spade collar is absolutely darling and surprisingly durable. The navy gingham print is classic and stylish—perfect for both male and female dogs—and it gives off a polished, preppy look without being too flashy. The gold-tone hardware adds a nice touch of elegance, and the little spade charm is a cute bonus!I was initially concerned about the plastic buckle, but it’s thick, secure, and clicks firmly in place, so I feel confident using it for everyday wear. The adjustable sizing (15” to 22”) fit my medium/large pup perfectly, with plenty of room for comfort.It sits well on her neck, doesn't twist or bunch, and has held up great during walks, naps, and even a bit of roughhousing. I love the color & quality of this collar. Everything about it is what I expect from Kate Spade. My dog is petite and about 10 lb. The collar looks too big for my dogs size. I will have to save the collar & leash for a larger dog. Well worth the money and style

Very good collar.

Unfortunately as beautiful as this collar is - it just cost us a terrifying experience that could have ended very badly. It’s only 2 months old, but I noticed it didn’t seem to click into place the other day when putting it on my 10lb puppy. I thought it was a fluke and gave it another chance. My dog was on a relaxed leash (the Kate spade matching leash) and as she bent down to relieve herself the collar just completely unsnapped from her neck out of nowhere. Being a puppy still learning commands - she did not obey to sit, and instead immediately took off towards a busy road with her new found freedom. After using every trick in the book to coax her away from the road, she then proceeded into a heavily wooded area. My toddler unfortunately witnessed all of this while I struggled to lure my puppy back for over an hour.The first time the snap didn’t seem right on the collar I should have trusted my gut. But this is an expensive, nice brand so I am really shocked and saddened by this experience. I understand most collars have a safety release feature - but it shouldn’t just randomly unsnap. Clearly it’s defective and not worth risking your dogs life/safety over. Sadly will never trust this brand again.

The collar is very nice and quality. It looks great on my husky but a little heavy on my Chihuahua. Still very pretty. I also wish there was a place to hang the dog tag from because the leash loop is too thick to do so.
