War Room: Prayer Is a Powerful Weapon

What a book of faith! It reminds you that following Christ is rewarding and yet not easy. It reminds you to surrender. It reminds you to keep on praying - not just because God wants to hear from you but because He wants to speak with you. It reminds you that you are loved. It reminds you that honesty is the best policy. This book has made me laugh and cry but especially made me realise that the fights I want to have with people need to be taken to prayer. Yes, the fighting should happen in the 'War room'; the room where you share with God what you need, thank Him for all He's done; and then let God fill you with His might, power and strength to fight the enemy. This book will remind you that everyone is human and many are trying their best, so see the best in everyone; and anything else take to the Lord before you take it to them. What a blessing!

I sent this book as a gift to a relative who is in very serious trouble, because it encourages you to pray effectively and that God can really help you. I know it is a novel, and therefore fiction, but you get the feeling that all the things in it could really happen. It rings true, and the uses of scripture are appropriate. I found it very helpful myself and started praying far more, which has been an enormous help, keeping me calm in difficulties. Now I have given it to someone else who needed encouragement, I hope it will do the same for her.

I found the pace of this story gentle yet riveting. The principle, experience and power of prayer and the ordinary lives impacted is beautifully interwoven throughout. In the world in which we now live, with all that's going on, it doesn't surprise me that this movie did so well against more 'secular' offerings. This story of faith and hope and trust has impacted me greatly and made me look at and examine my own prayer life.

I bought this book after doing a bible plan on one of my apps. Whilst it is taken from the movie it is well written and has the ability to stir you up & reflect on you own life. Everyone probably identifies with each of the main characters in one way or another & you've got to just love Miss Clara, her love for God and the way she gently & lovingly calls you out on stuff. I polished this off in 4 days but didn't really want it to end so now I'm gonna buy the did.

This book was recommended for me by Joyce Meyer ministries. I found this book truly inspirational and uplifting. As a Christian we need to be reminded about the love of God and the many ways in which He wants us to be in relationship with Him and for Him to bless us.An amazing and enlightening read written in a lighthearted manner.

This is a great book. It has given me a new insight into warfare through prayer and the need to find a quiet place to focus on directed prayer. I highly recommend it to those who want to be serious about their​ prayer life.

This is a must read for all Christian's and people of no faith searching for meaning of life. It is USA based, however, the story speaks into your daily life. If I could afford it, I would give a copy to everyone I know. Particularly helpful for those facing family challenges.
