They fit my oven racks well and keep me from burning my hands while reaching into the oven. They still feel hot to the touch, but they didn't cause a burn when my hand touched one.

I kept burning my arms when I baked. I thought a passive system was best. I’m impressed with the ease of installing and the color helps give me a warning to avoid touching the rack. Only drawback is that if you want to broil you have to remove them due to temperature limitations. But that is easy to do.

I bought the red ones, but now having an electric oven, I look twice to make sure I'm not seeing the oven burners being on. No doubt I'll adapt. The silicone does a good job of protecting my hand and arm from getting burned. I'm glad I found these oven rack shields. I removed one star for the lack of instructions, but they are really self-explanatory, so maybe I shouldn't have. These are a good sturdy, effective product, and are recommended.

I was really hoping these were going to be as awesome as I'd seen on YouTube. They are.Between the turkey, the dishes coming out of, and other dishes going into the oven, either me or my DH always, always get at least one burn on arm, wrist, somewhere. Every. Single. Thanksgiving.Not this year. I wish I'd known about them ages ago. They are brilliant! No odd smoking, no bad smells, no funny taste in anything cooked in the oven. And a burn-free year! I could not be happier!

These work just as advertised. Easy to cut to size. I am using them in the oven but I really bought it because I needed something heat resistant to replace the little rubber feet caps on the bottom of my wife's air fryer basket. The feet don't stay on very well and one got lost. This stuff works perfectly for that and I had enough to replace all four feet caps.

Where have these been all my life?! Best. Purchase. Ever. In my house, these serve the purpose of protection as well as confidence for a teen chef. Mom has M.S. so bad balance, weak arms, all that fun schmuck so definitely will prevent future arm burns from be unstable in an oven. But also takes a little of the scare out of placing items in the oven for my 14 y/o. Bonus! If it’s not obvious, these still get warm. But they allow you to get away with a little bump of the grate without searing your skin👍

Already saved me from a burn and I’ve only had them a couple weeks. Bought them for 3 family members. Awesome.

Good idea to put on your oven rack edges. Doesn't replace oven mitts or pot holders but helps protect when reaching in oven.

These work great, no issues at all. I just trimmed them to fit the racks on my stove and I don't worry about burning my arms when reaching in for something in the stove any more.

When I think of times in the past that I have burnt the back of my hands. NO MORE

Need to be a bit longer for most rakes as it is a bit short in my on both sides

Works really well so you don't burn yourself. The color is rather off putting but it does stand out.
