Please make more of these but for the 12 to 18 age group! I have a 7 year old that is very advanced near the level of one step beyond these very soon. I ordered one that I could find on quantum theory age 12-18 in addition to this grouping for 8 to 12 on quantum theory, black holes, and quantum computing. He is young and likes the photos but so advanced he’ll need a more in depth content very soon. These are great!

My grandson liked the book very much. It was easy for him the understand.

BEWARE of books written by this author. Don't be drawn in by the fancy illustrated covers and the clever marketing. These books are written by an author with no on-line credentials. They are poorly written, printed in large type and have many short paragraphs separated by 2 spaces,; in other words, there is a lot of fluff here and no substance. The author is probably a grad student if that, and repeats the same pablum over and over again, heaping praise on the title subject but not providing a real story that might capture the imagination of a kid. There are no illustrations to be found other than the cover. Some concepts are vaguely presented that are way above the reading/verbal skills of the intended audience and then just left hanging. This seems to be a growing problem in the children's book publishing arena. These books, all with fancy covers and lots of clever marketing written by unknown authors are flooding the market. Buyer beware! Total garbage.

I purchased this book for my space loving son. After reading it with him, I found lots of grammatical errors. Some of the errors take away from the context of a few sentences. I am NOT a grammar snob, but they stood out to me. The book satisfied my son who wanted a book on black holes, but as he grows I may be able to challenge him to find the errors in the book! lol
