The watch arrived before expectations. I had issues at first keeping the watch wound, but properly and gently rotating the watch several times through all of the hours helped with any sort of stiffness in the mechanisms. Also, properly winding the internal mechanism takes 3-5minutes of full tilts and winds when dealing with a brand new mechanical watch. It will automatically release the clutch when it's fully wound. Vostok is a great brand and has been around for a very long time. It's nostalgia is timeless and the looks of the watch speaks for itself. I'm new to watch collecting and love authentic automatic watches. Vostok truly is a treasure and should be preserved. You cannot beat it's affordable pricing and the manufacturing is tough. If you need the watch serviced, please do your research and find a local dealer or one accredited through Vostok.

This watch arrived to eastern US one month after purchase. Shipped from Russia. (It takes some time) The watch looks and feels excellent IMO. Very nice weight. The screw down crown feels a little lighter weight like perhaps not stainless but unsure but it functions fine. It has a 24 hour dial that takes some getting used to but it’s unique. The crown has basically three positions. Once unscrewed it’s simply neutral. You have to give a slight outward pressure to wind and if you pull out fully you can set the time (winds by spinning clockwise and sets in “reverse” or by spinning crown counterclockwise). It just got to me but if this thing keeps running, it seems like an unbelievable value.

My husband wanted this watch because he thought it looked cool. But he didn’t like it because the second hand was way off time and as a result , the watch ultimately didn’t work. The return and refund process went smoothly.

The media could not be loaded. Love the 24 hr glow in the dark dial, no lume on the hands though. Mine keeps time very well, every few days I have to back it off a minute. Changed the nato strap for a stainless steel bracelet. Only thing I didn't like was the weight, but good things have weight, and it's mostly my fault due to the bracelet. Over all it's a good looking automatic watch that you can take with you wherever you go. 20mm strap size.

I received the item about 3 weeks after it was shipped; shortly after Christmas, so pretty happy there. As it's an automatic (self-winding) watch, it was already running when I received it. Very happy with the look and feel of it. I love the 24 hour dial. I've never owned a Russian-made watch before, but I'm glad I made the decision to buy it.

Hard to get these. Awesome watch.
