Easy to fit
Perfect. Does what I want it to do. Easy to apply to windows. I managed two windows out of one box. Can’t see why they wouldn’t keep flies out. Windows open letting in fresh air and no bugs. Easy to cut and fix to the magnetic strip

Does the job!
Bit fiddly to put up, but definitely worth it and glad I went with the magnets rather than other options with velcro. Been up for a few nights now and been able to have the windows open without waking up covered in bites. One draw back is I wish they provided more magnets, 12 is not enough for the size of the net.

Highly recommend
Why did you choose this product over others?: We get a lot of flies which cause my rescue dog a lot of anxiety when they’re in the house. Being lucky enough to live in a listed building I was very much against doing anything invasive such as drilling or applying adhesive. Because the window frames are iron a magnetic solution seemed an ideal way to avoid this. I’m very impressed with how strong both the netting and magnets are. The material doesn’t snag and the magnets have held it taut and secure even in windy conditions. Very easy and quick to fit. I’ve brought more to use on my other windows. Highly recommend

Fly screens
I've brought two window fly screens easy to put up and cut to size. The only thing is that there needs to be more magnets and magnet holders. Will buy them again.

OK, but could do better...
Two years on, I wouldn't entirely recommend these fly screens. They are quite easy to fit by yourself, visibility is good and they do a reasonable job of keeping around 50% of insects (and 100% of small birds) out. However, as they are not sealed around the edges, you still get moths, belligerent bluebottles and spiders breaking and entering. As I wish to keep insects at bay, and decorative cobwebs to a minimum, I'll be replacing these with slightly more expensive fly screens which are sealed around the edges to keep out 100% of pesky critters.

Large mesh useless for mosquitoes, gnats and midges
There's no way this will keep out midges/mosquitoes as the mesh is far too large. Unfortunately I bought this some time ago but only just got around to looking at it properly so too late to return it. The reviews were mixed but they were for all the similar fly screens but you would expect something that promises to keep out mosquitoes to actually stand a chance of keeping out mosquitoes! I like to have the bedroom windows open when it's hot but also read in bed and my bungalow has a pond in the garden so tiny biting, whining, flies are a real pain at night. I previously had screens I made myself but gave just had new windows throughout and the design won't work any more. If you're buying this for "normal" sized flies it might be ok but if you want something to deter tiny flies don't bother.

Too many side gaps as not enough magnetic clips for even a very small window
This was a good idea in theory but you don't get anywhere near enough magnetic/clip bits and they aren't flat enough either anyway. So there's just gaps between each bit and it doesn't work effectively against anything except large flies or things that don't buzz about trying to get into small gaps at edges. Due to this small flies, fingers knats and spiders just come in and there's no stopping it. I bought a few of these cheaper products and one more expensive one to test them all and in the end I've gone with the velcro versions because whilst they aren't as tidy/pretty, they are the most effective at staying up and blocking every single corner for bugs of all types.
