I got a bigger dog door because as my big boy has gotten older he didn't go through the smaller one as easily any more. Even though the Baboni XL door had a few errors and omissions in the instructions, it was easy to install and works great. It is less expensive than the similar sized PetSafe door and has more features. I especially like the 3 flaps for more insulation from the cold and the locking metal door cover. My previous door had a plastic cover that was easy to slide up from the outside, if someone was inclined to break into a house with 2 big dogs. Stanley the 160 lbs mastiff fits through the XL door great. The 3 flaps are a little harder to push open but little 80 lbs Bunny has no problem.The interior and exterior pieces are marked A and B but these letters aren't mentioned in the instructions. Instruction manual describes the exterior door as the one with 1 flaps, and the interior door is also described as the one with one flap (it's the one with 2 actually). It is great that this door comes with 3 choices for hardware to use. Since I have a solid core door I used the self tapping screws. It seems very odd that the instructions call for a 11/32 inch drill bit if using either of the bolt options. This seems like overkill for those skinny bolts. And there are plastic caps included which are described nowhere in the instructions. I gather they are to snap over the nylon bolt heads for a smooth clean look. Other than that, this seems to be a great product.

A five star product.This entrance door installed easily and is very sturdy. I also like the metal door and construction.What I did't like is the flaps. They never closed properly and either got stuck on the outside or inside of the frame. Not very energy efficient with this problem. This was taken care of by the seller with a replacement door. Five star for the seller too!

Nice unit, and my dogs (from a small one to a large one) have no problem going in-n-out, but when they do, I can still see daylight...not sure how that's considered energy efficient, especially as I still have to see what happens next winter here in the Midwest... When installing, realize that the bolts that hold the frame together on the door are WAY too long...You will need to cut them off with a grinder or a hacksaw...You've been warned!

Very high quality great instructions came in two days ! Very sturdy well made has nice wide flanges that would cover a sloppy whole cut ! Way cheaper than pet safe all weather unit . The three flaps are great for our cold weather in Alaska and the door cover is steel which should help keep critters out .I don’t write reviews but this product deserves six stars

It is much sturdier than I was expecting. Installation was straightforward The only time you may need help is taking it on/off and holding one side in place while putting the other side. The flaps fit snuggly. My 100lb German Shepherd has no problem using it. I have the large size.

Seems to be quite good quality. Metal parts are sturdy. My dog is a Great Pyrenees and will most likely be 100-120 Lbs. I ordered the XL door and I think it will be plenty big enough for her when she is done growing.

Liked that the door can be "locked" from both inside or outside, the fact that it is telescoping to accommodate various thicknesses, that it can the frame can be fitted using self tapping (dry wall) screws, plastic or metal screws as required all supplied.Fitting is easier than Petsmart

I fell this is a bit pricy but it does work well
