Husband of the account holder here. I have sensitive skin, particularly with deodorants. For the past 25 years or so I've used 2 brands of deodorant consistently because virtually all others make me break out in a rash, usually after the first day. Right Guard had one for years until they changed their formula and since I've been using Dove Men + Care Non-Irritant. I started using Viking Revolution's beard products because they reviewed well and have worked very well with my beard. Because of my posts tagging them on my positive reviews of it, they asked me to try their deodorant. I was hesitant to get it because of the above reasons but decided to try. It's been great actually. Smells great, but don't over apply because it can get strong on you. It's held up for me for over 24 hours, I went as much as 36 hours before reapplying. It didn't bother my skin at all. If you're going from another deodorant to this, you'll need to get use to not having that feel that deodorant usually gives when applied. Some coating or wetness or whatever feel deodorant usually gives. It's not going to feel like it's on unless you over apply it, at which point the scent can get really strong. I recommend using it with their solid cologne as well.

At first I was committed to liking this product as I had subscribed to monthly deliveries sight unseen, based on the description alone. I was initially impressed by the packaging and I liked the tea tree scent. I found it particularly difficult to roll on. But I couldn’t say that it deterred me from using it. I also can’t say that it outperformed my previous store bought brand. I mainly bought it because I have sensitive skin and I liked the “natural ingredients”. One particular hot and humid day I applied a heavier dose of this deodorant and developed a painful underarm rash. I would stay away if you are sensitive to harsh deodorants.

I normally don't make reviews but I have to Gove this Deodorant it's credit. This has to be the best natural Deodorant I used. I'm normally a sweaty guy and I live in texas. I also am very limited to Deodorants as most does not work for me except dove men care Deodorant. However, I wanted to go the natural route and look for a Deodorant without the harsh chemicals and aluminum. All natural Deodorants that I have tried did not work on me just like most other traditional Deodorants. But with vikings Sandlewood Deodorant, this works really well. I do not smell at all, even after coming from the gym. I only use it once a day and it will last me the whole day. I honestly hope they don't change their product and start adding harsh chemicals or going the cheaper route. If they continue to keep their product truly natural, I will be a forever customer to their Deodorant products as it took me a long time to search for a natural Deodorant that I like and works well for me.

Since Hey Humans discontinued their excellent Coconut Mint deodorant, I tried this one instead. It's well-priced and top quality in both formula and packaging. However, a couple considerations are: 1. This scent is more menthol than mint, so it’s surprisingly strong-smelling with a long-lasting cooling effect which can seem wet. 2. If applied heavily, which is not necessary, the charcoal can build up and leave dark marks on light-colored clothing. Preferences are personal. I love mint in all products but ultimately ended up using Hello Sweet Coconut instead.

I felt like trying something new because my previous favorite brand raised prices and is sold out of my favorite scent. I tend to like earthier, outdoorsy scents so I decided to give the Oud a try. It’s not my favorite as it smells really good and piney on the stick but it doesn’t smell good on my body - kind of like pine mixed with an in n out burger lol. It kind of has low notes of cheesy onion or something similar, which I’ve read is common with Oud. The application itself isn’t the smoothest. It’s a bit too waxy and tends to pull out more armpit hair than most other deodorants. It’s not painful, just has some drag. I’ve found that it applies better if my pits are already fairly wet The odor protection is good for casual, daily wear, but it doesn’t last very long under any sort of athletic use. I’ll continue using it as I don’t want to be wasteful. I’ve found that if I combine it with another deodorant it’s better. I might try a different scent from this brand next time.

I really like other products made by Viking Revolution so I decided to try the deodorant. Has great reviews. The cool mint smells great however very strong. Maybe this is by design as the effectiveness started to wear off in a couple hours and I could smell myself and the mint! It also stained the pits of every shirt I wore. (And it did not wash out even with a spray stain release). I'm thinking it is the charcoal that did the staining. Just to give it a second chance, I went back to my past deodorant (no charcoal) and results were no stink or staining. It just may not work with my body but the staining was disappointing. I guess I will stay with what I was using prior.

I originally tried the Attitude brand when finding a natural deodorant but found the effects didn’t last long and despite following instructions for natural deodorants found it clumpy. I then found this product and pleased with the application with normal results and long lasting scent - up to three days of work. It’s nice to smell the sweet sandalwood rather than the not so sweet effects of non lasting deodorants.

Smells great, applies relatively easy solid container (i hate those paper ones). I think i found my new favorite brand.

Smells great when you apply fresh but throughout the day it absorbs the odor and multiplies it. Over time even when you shower and re apply it multiplies and multiplies. After a couple of weeks I was constantly smelling horribly and even right after a shower and I thought I had a medical issue since body odor was never an issue for me! Surely enough when I stopped using it and after a few showers later I went back to my normal self. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!

since my last deodorant that got discontinued I couldn't find a mild scented one and I used the crystal that I sprayed a mild scent on it until I found this one. Awesome product.

If i was to review this deodorant within the first couple days of using it then this would have been a great review as the scent was strong and long lasting. However, after a few days of use the deodorant no longer smells of sandalwood, it's just plain deodorant. I'm very disappointed with this and will never buy again
