A great product. Gave good support and pain relief. Might not be cheap but worth it and long lasting. Can wash hand with it on. Don’t have to keep taking off like other supports.More discreet than a whole hand support

Works really well once you've worked out how to bend it correctly for YOUR thumb. Quite hard to manipulate which is a nuisance if you have weak hands- which is probably why you need it. Ideally you would get help from a hand therapist, but they are extremely hard to come by. Trial and error is usually the only way. Otherwise it is the best thumb splint as it interferres so little with your dexterity, can be washed and dried easily and quickly and is pretty in inconspicuous.

I have a problem with my CMC joint and after the latest surgery was looking for a thumb support that would not limit the movement of my wrist. I have had a trusty psb support for many years but it was finally on death's door and a rather funny colour so thought I would give this ago.PositivesIt completely immobilises the CMC joint without restricting movement for the rest of the thumb/wrist = less pain :-)It's fairly discreet as hand supports go and not too bulky.Washing machinableHaving quite small hands it's tricky to find a thumb support that fits properly and doesn't rub. This fits great.NegativesIf I wear it too long I get stiff which causes a different type of pain. However as it does not effect the wrist it's not the end of the world.Another reviewer commented that it had no velcro which seemed like a massive advantage (that's what gave out on the psb support) as was hoping for a longer lasting support as my condition is only going to get worse. Having washed it a number of times the velcro is already less effective after a few months so it doesn't bode well.Would I buy one again, certainly. It isn't the cheapest option but without affecting wrist movement it is worth investing in. I sleep in it and wear it for long distance driving, jogging, house work etc so wear it quiet a lot I guess. However if I wear it a bit during the day as well as over night, I do wake up stiff and consequently achy. So I am thinking about getting a psb one again as they are less rigid (better for sleeping?) but that doesn't mean I will stop using this one either.

Offers great support while allowing movement, BUT the Velcro is already deteriorating in less than a month’s use. That is quite disappointing considering the price. It would get 5 stars had the fastening been better.

I love these! I have Ehlers Danlos Syndrome which means my joints are very lax. My thumbs partially dislocate very easily so I need bracing all the time. If you need support for your thumbs that you need to wear bracing much of the time these are wonderful. They are comfortable and retain full movement of the hands, whilst stabilising the thumb joint. Fabulous! I can get on and do the housework in these and almost forget I'm wearing them. The only downside is the price, but braces aren't cheap anyway, but they are the best investment I've made, and I've tried many on the market.

Having been diagnosed with Osteo-arthritis in my left thumb I found this brace to bring instant relief. It stabalises myjoint and allows a decent range of movement. It can be washed and worn in water but have noticed I delevoped excema under the 2 straps but that is worth putting up with to get the high level of comfort to a very painful joint. Shame it isn't in skin tone colour as it would be more discrete but would highly recommend this to anyone with thumb joint problems.Expensive but does exactly what it says on the tin :0)
