This kit is actually a great value for all that you receive. While my first impression was that the items appeared cheap and would be rather unusable I was quite surprised to find that everything I’ve had the occasion to use thus far has been quite durable and very handy. Nice & thick quality sewing needles. The thread is a great addition, too. The leather trimming tool is incredibly sharp and works like a dream for cleaning up edges. Even the finger guards and thimble I thought were cheap little add-ons have proved incredibly useful and held up perfectly. In fact, the leather punching tool was so study I was able to use it to create a screw hole in my exterior steel door to install a new handle. Just a few taps of a hammer and it punched right through without dulling the tip one bit. I’m very impressed by the quality of these tools. Definitely a bargain buy & I would absolutely purchase again and recommend this starter kit to anyone new starting out that’s looking to get a lot of band for your buck!

Mind you, I'm an absolute beginner when it comes to leather working, but so far this set seems bmto be absolutely amazing, and the price is unbeatable. All the individual items would be a lot more expensive if you'd buy them separately.

This is a good kit, I gave as a gift for someone just starting with leather work. Everything it great but one of the needles broke while stitching a piece so that sucks. Otherwise pretty good.

Full set. Useful tools. I’ve worked with leather quite a bit but it’s been a few years. I’d not used some of the tools that come in this pack before—turns out they’re super useful. It’s well priced and very inclusive. I’d say it’s good for beginners and mid-level leather workers. It includes a lot, ad the quality is good.

I do leather working, Getting a kit like this saved me a bunch of money just by having everything i intended on buying to stock with, plus things I planned on getting later. From the looks of it, it's a great kit for any beginner or someone just needing to get more supplies to use. Buying all of this individually would have cost me much more.

So as one should expect from a set that seems to have So much but is so inexpensive the quality of the items leaves a little to ne desired. While I can't speak to durability, this does provide a set of useable tools that one could use for leather work. As I saw elsewhere, the tools themselves are notably smaller than the pictures lead you to believe and smaller than "normal" leather tools of the same type. I guess the bottom line is i was looking for some cheap extra tools to aug9the tools I already have. Technically, I got what I paid for.

I'm getting back into making my own things again, and this was prefect. The only bad thing it didn't come with instructions on what tool is used for what. I had to do my own research and learn from there. So, its a bitter, sweet thing for the price, but lacking in explaining what tools are used for. Still a good beginners kit.

This kit is good for beginners, the only issue I have is the sewing needles have broken. They are made out of plastic.

I'm new to leather work so I didn't want to spend a fortune in case I don't carry on. These tools are perfect for beginners. They are strong enough and there's a good selection of tools for the money. I would recommend them, certainly for beginners.
