The meat is incredibly lean game meat with a rich, sweet, almost nutty flavor that far surpasses that of conventional pork. It is leaner and deeper red than pork with a tighter grain. Unlike the venison and antelope that we sell, wild boar meat needs to be fully cooked before eating (Do not overcook as this may toughen the meat).
