Amazon Basics 8-Sheet Cross Cut Paper Shredder and Credit Card Shredder - Black

This works perfect! I have had a collection of credit cards that have been expired for years but just never tossed... my husband gladly shredded them all for me with ease! I have only had one jam and that was what I believe to be user error because my husband had put too many papers in at once. I feel like this was a quality shredder and will hold up well for years to come! The top part is a little heavy but if you hold it by the handle when you remove it from the bottom it's really not an issue. I do find the noise level to be a little louder than I would like but I usually just lay the things I need shredded on top and wait for everyone to be awake to use it! My kids enjoy seeing what is new to shred LOL. I will say now that i've caught up the things I had accumulated to shred I don't usually do more than 1 or 2 pages at once, but when I first got it I did do probably 4 or 5 pages at once. I know the capacity is pretty good because it never jammed on me when I did that! I would recommend this to anyone thinking about getting a shredder and composting it after! My garden has really enjoyed them!

This is a really nice shredder for the price. The size is perfect for my needs and the operation straight forward. Looks to be very well built and the handle is a nice feature making it easy to remove the top and put it back on. It cuts documents in nice small pieces ensuring security of sensitive information. It is quieter than I expected. The speed is decent. For no more than this cost, it is very nice.

This shredder was well worth the money. I like the design, work buttons and safety features. It isn't as noisy/loud as I thought it would be from a few of the reviews here. It is very powerful and shredded several sheets easily. I have even shredded thinner cardboard for my worm bin and the machine had no problem. The wheels are a huge bonus because it is bit heavy. The bin holds a large capacity of shredding.

I got the white 8 sheet shredder and I'm happy with this for a $30 shredder. I've needed a shredder for a while now but didn't get one because the one I had before was about $70-80 and I didn't want to spend that again. For a cheaper model, this one does a good job. A lot of my pros and cons are comparing this to the more expensive shredder I bought at Costco. I bought this shredder as a replacement for the one I had for years. The collection container is smaller and easier to handle. It works efficiently and has a fairly strong motor to handle the shredding. The motor operates quietly. This was a good purchase

This shredder is small, lightweight & perfect for home use but not powerful enough for office or heavy shredding. I use it in my home office and works well for the usual things one wants to shred for safety. It is fast, does 5-8 pages easily, will take staples & card stock or credit cards. It is quite noisy when running but that's not an issue for in this setting. It was not as expensive or heavy duty is the one I had for a number of years but satisfactory for my needs now. I would recommend it for the average home usage.
