GORILLAAutomotive 71633NBC "The System" Acorn Black Chrome Wheel Locks (12mm x 1.50 Thread Size) - For 5 Lug Wheels

Bought these for my 2015 wrangler unlimited even though Amazon said they would not fit. They fit perfectly and have been running them for several weeks now without issue. Switched to my winter tires (2014 rubicon rims) without issue. No loss of color on them even with them on and off. My wrangler came with the altitude package blacked out rims and couldn't for the life of me figure out why Jeep would have chrome lug nuts. These were not a perfect match to the color, but you wouldn't notice unless you're OCD. With a little brake/road dust everything matches. Bought these with the gorilla 71681nbc so that all lugs including the 3 on the spare were black. Greta product and great price.*****UPDATE 3-1-16****** these have now gone through a NE Ohio winter and brown spots are showing up on the edges contacted when you install them. Not sure if it's something that will be easily removed and stopped with a light coat of WD40 or if this is the start of their demise. I have summer and winter wheels, plus when I go off road I switch to the winter wheels so they will be on and off quite frequent. Will try to update more. So far still would purchase again.

I put this on my jeep to protect the new tires from being stolen. Everything works perfectly and I would recommend them. The black nuts look good against a black rim.I ended up needing to contact the manufacturer to get an additional set of four and key that matched my set. With the paperwork that came with the this kit they were able to send me a matched set for my exterior spare tire. (Yes, I bought the additional set.) I would see doing this again a few times to get the same exact key set for all of my vehicles. As it is, I have a key for the tires locked in my vehicles security box and one in my tool chest in my garage. It was a win/win situation.

A little surprised that Toyota puts chrome nuts on a car where everything else is blacked out. These work well and make it more difficult to steal - bonus.

I own a 2010 40th Anniversary Nissan 370Z. It has stock wheels, but they are very nice. Naively, I did not have any kind of wheel security on the car. This past July(2012) I woke up to my beautiful Z on 4 big bricks with no wheels! After a painful week of trying to get a tow company who was able to get a car with no wheels onto its truck-bed, I finally got the car into the shop and the insurance company to come inspect it. A few weeks later I was back in action.During the period of not having my car, I did a lot of research on car alarms and wheel locks. I settled on the "The System" by Gorilla. I ordered via Amazon and I installed them the day I got my car back.While I hear about people leaving the "key" inside their car, I figured I would leave mine in my house. If I go on a road trip, perhaps I would carry it in the vehicle, but if I'm local, I feel safer not having the key inside my car. This decision turned out to be the right one, as not more than 3 months later an attempt to steal my wheels was committed a second time(I can only assume by the same group of people). This time they broke out my passenger-side window and searched my entire car looking for the key that was hidden in my house. The thieves left empty-handed that night.So while I got stuck with a 300.00 bill to fix my window and even more frustration, in the end, I was very satisfied with my purchase of these locks. The only thing they can't do is help me sell my house faster so I can get the heck outta' here!

These look nice and are probably just slightly more secure than the typical spline lock style. Not sure if the coating is going to hold up once autocross season arrives, but I guess we'll find out.

We picked up our first car, a Dodge Viper ACR, from a dealer over a thousand miles from our home base. Imagine our surprise when we got there to find that the $10,000 BBS wheels that came with the car from the factory were not secured with any kind of locking system, and would be vulnerable when we stopped for the night and any time we left the car in public. Huge problem! It turned out to be an easy fix when we ordered this set of acorn lock-lugs. The lugs look great in black contrasted with our red car, and the fact that every lug has a locking mechanism greatly multiplies the time and cost and noise any thief would have to expend to get at the car's wheels. We know that wherever the car is secure in the rare instances that it's parked on the street in NYC or Philly while we're out, and looks good doing it.

great quality, easy install, very durable. They fit perfect with my rims. I tried taking them off not using the key and they would not budge. They are worth the price to protect your rims, especially ones that cost a pretty penny. It also comes with a product # to get a replacement key from the company for a fee if you loose it, but even that isn't too expensive.

La medida es la correcta y el color perfecto son un negro ni mate ni brilloso, es como cromo negro y no se ve que se despinte facil. Combinaron perfecto con mis rines brindando esa proteccion extra contra robo que andaba buscando. Los recomiendo ampliamente PERO no olviden usar torquimetro cuando aprieten sus tuercas para que la llave de seguridad les dure mucho tiempo y no se dañe al momento de quitarlos porque si parece un poco fragil. Saludos

Due to switching tires from All Seasons to Winter, my original Mcgard lug nuts lost it's shape (The wrench wasn't able to grip the lug nuts properly). With "The System", you would use the security key provided to tighten each nut.Packaging/Item:The whole packaging was exactly as shown on the amazon item's page. They have a matte black texture, rather than a glossy/chrome look.Durability:So far these lug nuts are pretty durable - no color chips or scratches were seen, but only time will tell when the wear and tear will start showing. I've recently driven my car from Ontario to New Brunswick and (Thank Goodness) no problems with these lug nuts.So far there's no issues with the product. If you're on a budget and looking for a solid replacement to your stock lug nuts, "The System" is a pretty solid choice.

Escelente producto, viene con buen acabado y se ponen sin ningún problema con su dado. Sólo validen las medidas que necesita su auto, porque a veces lo marcan como que no le queda a su auto y sin embargo si le quedan.
