Great Pen at a Great Price
I wanted a nice pen, so I got this one. Very nice. Feels solid, the ink is nice and dark and I think it's a good looking pen as well. The Sarasa Grands with the silver clips are 0.7 and the ones with gold clips are 0.5. Thanks to the review here on Amazon that cleared that up. I have also used energel refills in this pen too. They work great. But the sarasa ink is also great. So if you want a nice, solid pen at a great price, this one is hard to beat.

Great pen if you change the ink to Pentel Energel!
The structure of the pen is great and the gold color is really classy!I took a star off due to the ink it comes with being terrible, and having to find a different refill. I ended up replacing the original Medium Point, 0.7mm, Black Ink that came in the Zebra Sarasa Grand, with the Pentel Energel, Fine Point Liquid Gel Pen, 0.5mm, Black Ink and it’s so much better! Sometimes it’s a bit too thick/dark, but it doesn’t smudge. I’ll take it being too dark any day over the patchy writing I was getting from the original Ink the Zebra pen came with!I was initially super confused at what the different LRN5 - “letters” meant… until I found a KEY clarifying it!I’ve attached a photo of that Key from the Energel UK site for anyone else who may be in the same boat :)

Excellent pen !
I had used a friend’s Sarasasa pen which prompted me to order 2 of them. These are the best writing pens I have ever used.

Nice Quality Pen- writes smooth
The pen is worth the price, writes smooth, dries fairly quickly, ink is nice & bold but…..I don’t like the way the clip sits higher than the retractable clicker. You have to click on/off with your finger from one side and not use flat surface like your desk/notepad to click on/off. Just a small detail I didn’t like.

Only 3 stars because of one minor tweak
Initially when I bought the single “Sarsa Grand” pen, I also ordered a 5 pack of the regular plastic sarsa dry X20’s. The sarsa grand felt way better but it didn’t seem Like they put the X20 cartridge in it because it was a clear difference in the smoothness and the darkness between the two pens . I’ll insert pictures . I switched the cartridges out (they’re literally the same size) and now the grand pen feels AND writes smooth and beautifully! This minor adjustment turns this pen to a 5/5 for me.

Excellent pen for left-handed folks!
This pen releases ink with little effort but the ink doesn't smear. It's an excellent pen to write with and it's my go-to for quickly jotting down notes. The only complaint I have is that the writing/ink thickness is 0.7mm. This is fine for most uses, but it becomes a problem if you need to write in small letters or in tight spaces. I prefer 0.5mm but I'll manage with the 0.7mm since this pen writes better than my other pens.Still, please consider releasing a 0.5mm!!

Happy (no longer)
Edit: the cartridge has started skipping and is now not usable. Very frustrating. I’ve given Zebra too many chances. My first experience with Sarasa Dry ink. It’s terrific. I also like the weight of this pen. An important downside, as others have mentioned, is that the clip is the same height as the clicker, meaning that you can’t click it closed into yourself. You need to position your finger in exactly the right way to do it. Also, as there’s no rubber/silicon, the barrel can get slippery. Still, I really like the pen.

Nice writing instrument
This is a nice writing instrument. It feels good in the hand and has enough weight to provide good balance. The only issue I have is the 0.7mm tip is a little too thick for my taste. I prefer a finer point such as a 0.5mm but apparently they don't make a refill with a point that size. Anybody know of a good gel refill that will fit this pen with a 0.5mm tip?

Good for refills
Like the actual pen itself the body is very smooth and has a pretty nice weight to it, it’s has a nice tight threading where it opens to be refilled the only problem that I find with it is the ink flow. The ink included in the pen comes out way to fast and thick, bleeds through even normal paper so your only able to use one side for writing, I’ve found the ink included better for sketching with then trying to write. Hopeing to find another kind of ink to refill it with to continue being able to use it.

Writes like a 200$ pen, looks like a 75$ pen, costs 10$.
Was shipped the gold by mistake instead of the black, but I kept it because I actually really liked how it looked. Feels good in your hand but can get greasy or slippery so you might have to wipe it off if you write a lot. Not much in the way of a grip.As far as function, I think Zebra makes the best gel ink hands down. Thick dark line, never skips, buttery smooth and dries almost instantly. You will never smudge a Sarasa pen. My lefty friends steal my plastic Sarasas all the time. The body itself will fit any Pilot G2/pentel energel/Uni Signo/Zebra JF style refills. Comparable to something like a Pentel Energel Style or a Uniball Jetstream Prime but better value. I put zebra ink in my Jetstream Prime anyway!
