I got this as an easy way to child lock patio doors on a second story patio. Works really well at locking sliding doors. i know some reviews had issues with it, but this is probably because they aren’t cleaning the glass before applying the adhesive. The adhesive is really strong and I gave rhr door a hard tug to test it out. It holds up.Doesn’t look super great, but it’s strong, fits well and it requires no tools.

Saw these on an Instagram ad, got them for the purpose of keeping the toddler inside because she discovered the lock. It does “rub” the sliding door (not glass) when i open/close. Not sure if it’s like that for others

These things work. I've used these since they first came out, years ago. They are the simplest and best lock for sliding doors. These are just as good as the originals

Lock function works great. Fit our basic glass sliding door. The stickiness is super strong. Very easy to install. Worth the money to keep my toddler from escaping.
