My Lenovo laptop was getting a bit hot sitting on my lap for long periods so this was an essential purchase.Arrived with no unnecessary packaging, just the cooling pad box itself and inside, the pad wrapped in bubble wrap. That was good to see. My first impression was that it's very lightweight yet sturdy and robust being make of a black metal mesh. I couldn't work out how to set it up until I checked the included assembly instructions. Two legs at the rear are held up by another two at a desired level of your choice. There is also a bit underneath which you take off and insert it in a slot to stop your laptop sliding down the pad. One USB cable is also included which plugs into one of your laptop USB ports to power the five red led fans. I do admit that I'm a sucker for led lights and to have a cooling pad with non pulsing led lights is cool. The speed of the fans are controlled by two rotating switches at the side of the pad. I remember when I first set it up, my laptop was already running hot to the touch. After less than ten minutes, my laptop was totally cool after using this. I was genuinely amazed and will probably extend the life of my laptop. Two USB ports in total, one to power the fans and led's and a spare to do with as you like.I can hear a slight hum from the fans but is barely noticeable. At first, I had my laptop sitting on a cushion on my lap. I tried to put this pad on the cushion but that didn't work, defeats the purpose really as the fans couldn't suck any air in so I removed the cushion and sat the cooling pad on my legs with my Lenovo on top. The two legs have little rubber feet so it doesn't feel uncomfortable.I think this is a great buy and will probably, as I say extend the life of my laptop so for that reason alone, I think it's excellent value for money, not to mention it looks cool. I used a very powerful cooler master cooling pad imported from Amazon US for couple of years but it broken. So when I search for the same cooler master one I did not get the replacement. So I tried other brands which includes some of the premimum brand (based on the Amazon reviews) but none of them are performing half of the quality which I had previously.But this one almost matching the same quality level in terms of fan RPM and I am extreamlly plaesd with this. I would say in comparison with price point the performance exceeds my expectation. So honestly I came here to rate this to five stars as I would like to prize the product.

For the price i wasn't expecting anything too robust. I was pleasantly surprised once it arrived. It doesn't look or feel particularly cheap or tacky.The fan noise once you have all fans running on full is minimal and not noticeable after a minute of use.It does it's job cooling wise. I've not noticed a huge drop in temps, it's most definitely reduced them though. The main benefit of its cooling abilities is that it Keeps my laptop at a stable temp when I'm doing cpu intense work.I've seen core temps as high as 90° on my dell 7567, using this cooling pad I'ts not reached over 78° whilst gaming or video editing.If your laptop runs really hot then I would recommend this pad, couple it with undervolting your laptop and you'll have no issues again.Not given 5 stars as the red lights are so dull they are pointless.

The description brags about how super quiet the fans for this thing are; for myself they were incredibly noisy, especially compared to other laptop cooling pads I have used from other companies. I noticed tilting the pad itself at different angles actually made the buzzing noises the fans gave off (mainly the centre one) alter slightly and even vanish; perhaps I had a defective model, but it just showed to me how cheaply made it all was.The pad itself is very bulky, heavy, and has some extremely sharp plastic edges which are just completely unnecessary; perhaps not a burden to many, but it certainly means you can't lie down with it and your laptop without making sure it doesn't dig into your leg painfully. Overall poorly designed and way overpriced.

It's really good. I wasn't expecting it to actually do anything to my laptop but was willing to waste 20 quid just to see if it did. And I was surprised! Don't expect it to keep your laptop freezing cold, but it will indeed help the temps! I was getting 85 degrees for CPU and now it stays around 78-82 ( the latter being after gaming for several hours ), GPU is even lower, 75 degrees in the heavy load!You will for sure see a 5 to 8-degree change into your temps! Which, if you're getting 90 degrees, it's well worth it! Thank you for the product! I even ended up ordering up for my flatmate as well. He's also, really pleased with its performance!
