We got these for our son's Pikachu party and they were just what we needed.

I have tried bioderadeable plates before and they were not durable. This biodegradable plate passed my tests. It did not tear, bend nor leak while handling and serving pasta with sauce. The cost is more than what I would pay for disposable plates however they are made of biodegradable material. Im guessing this material will break down faster than non biodegradable and is just as durable.

I was worried because sometimes these decorative plates are flimsy, but these were perfect for our Christmas in July celebration!!

The color of these is not as described at all. I thought they would be more rose gold or coral gold as described and these are a boring, flat dusty pink. They are fairly flimsy and about the quality of dollar store plates.

Very nice set of paper plates here and I am going to tell you why... What these plates are made of is something I have read about many times before that is extremely biodegradable. What does this mean? It simply means if you are "Go Green" conscious you will love these because they will break down much faster than most biodegradable products. I was also very impressed with how well this hold up under extreme heat in the microwave without compromising the plate itself. If I had to give any knock on this product at all it would be that it is a bit pricey considering you only get 50 plates, but I did not let that affect my rating simply because it is the product that it is made up (biodegradable sugar fibers) that drives the price up a little bit, but that just means you are doing something good for the earth.A lot of folks out there will not realize this, but a young child or even a pet could accidentally ingest a piece of this plate and it would break down in their body due to the acids and due to this being a sugar product and absolutely NOTHING would happen to you because it would break down before any blockage could occur. Great product!!
