If you have a dog who likes to ride in the car, these are a must!! We use the Kurgo harnesses and buckles for all 3 of our pups and they are comfortable in them and MUCH safer. Works on front or back seats. Adjustable (our dogs can still reach the window if they want to). Easy to clean material. Excellent quality. Highly recommend!

I have a new puppy and this really helps keep her in the back seat. Clips into any regular buckle and long enough to give her room to move but keeps her in place. It is a great safety in case something were to happen she would not go flying.

On the day I adopted my second dog, she jumped into the front seat and put the car in reverse at a red light. We tried a couple other solutions, including attaching her harness to the belt part of the seat belt. They all ended in her becoming extremely tangled.I'm not particularly handy, but I was able to adjust and install this tether myself in about two minutes and has been a lifesaver (possibly literally). It has solved three problems:1) It was easy to set it to the perfect length so she has some freedom in the backseat and can stick her head into the front to visit and reduce her anxiety by sniffing for a few seconds, but the bungee pulls her back when she tries to go much further so she's not just in my face while I'm driving. (And no more stoplight doggy gear changes!)2) I had to brake HARD on the freeway last week and it did its job well in keeping her safe. I was so glad she was belted in.3) She's a jump-out-as-soon-as-the-door-opens type of dog, so this tether gives me time to grab her leash and get my bearings before releasing her.Some bonuses: Molly is about 50 pounds and can pull hard, so this tether must be durable, because it still looks and works good as new after several months of use. Also, although my other dog has much better car behavior, the freeway incident made me realize I should be buckling in both dogs for safety. I love that I can just leave this tether installed and clip it to either of their harnesses with ease.One tiny difficulty is that sometimes the clip at the end of the tether gets a little turned and it has taken me up to a full sixty seconds to get it turned around to unclip it from the harness. But usually I can do it in about fifteen seconds.

I got this belt for my Corgi who is terrified to be in a car. I use a crate for long distances but wanted him to be near when going on short rides. It is really sturdy and seems well built. I find it easy to clip it onto his harness to keep him safe. I have a Jeep Wrangler and it clips in securely . Only issue is when in my husband’s Ram pickup the center safety belt does not fit. I got him a different one for the truck. Easy to use, made well. Ollie gives it 4 paws up.

This seat belt tether attachment works exactly as one would hope. It buckles into the seat belt attachment, and while keeping my dog secure in the backseat should a collision occur, allows her to stand, sit, lie down, turn around and shift position. In case of an accident, both my human and canine passengers will have protection. This also ensures that should a dog engage a window control (sometimes the child safety control on driver side is inadvertently disengaged), they will not be at risk of falling out of the window at speed. I had another model for years, and far prefer the ease of this model, the sturdiness, and the excellent quality of the stitching.

I bought this a while back for my dog, who sometimes would spontaneously decide to join the driver in the front seat when he was unrestrained. This clips nicely to my dog's harness and is just long enough to let him traverse the backseat of the car and stick his snout out the window, or lay down on a longer journey, without getting into trouble, getting out of the window or getting into the front seat. We've had the same one for several years and it has held up well. Two things: Only ever use it with a harness (do not, for the love of all that may be holy, clip this to a collar); and DEFINITELY buy the seat belt receptacle cover made by the same company. Trust me! I bought just the tether, and lo and behold, my dog accidentally stepped on the buckle release and was loose in the backseat because of it. With the cover, the system works like a charm. Safer for you as the driver, safer for the dog.

This was great addition for our car rides , safely keeps my dog in her area. I love the added safety, knowing that she can’t jump out of the window or the door when it opens also works excellent and turning corners or breaking hard.

me gustaro bastante en terminos generales tal vez me uboera gustado que se udieran hacer un poquitin mas cortos pero la calidad es muy buena mi consejo seria comprar un protector para el boton del cinturon por que los perro lo pisaban por axidente y se desabrochaba el cinturon 😅

Decent looking product but is not suitable for my (small) Golden if I want to clip it to the top of her harness. As it is, I'm keeping this in case I transport another dog, or my dog in another car, but it's not my primary restraint.

Great product

So far so good. It's held my 55lb stage 5 clinger bully in the back seat. I was skeptical with the small rotating piece but we're about 3 hours into our journey and she is still in her seat.
