Rentokil PSS120 Slug and Snail Killer Pellets

I planted some marigolds, large plug plants. The slugs immediately attacked. I knew slug pellets or other such products didn't really work, but I was tempted by the name Rentokill. I was right. These pellets really work. Unfortunately, the slugs finished off the marigolds before they died. In other parts of the garden with more mature plants, the pellets worked well.

Seems to do the trick most of the time. Although the listing said safe to use around children and pets the bottle says it isn’t... Works most of the time but don’t buy if you want to use somewhere animals and children play as the bottle says you can’t even though the listing says it’s safe!

I was a little dubious at first, but the snails and slugs seem to absolutely love these pellets. I watched them eating them and ignoring my plants, no sign of the pests within two days. Last about 3 weeks on the ground with watering. Only downside is that the container just has an open neck and no kind of dispenser, it is very easy to tip too much out by mistake. That said, I will definitely buy these again.

I was very apprehensive about purchasing chemical products for the garden but other options had not worked and had lost some lovely plants to the slugs! As these are suitable for organic gardens but most importantly let and child friendly I thought I would try…. So far only used once but the plants are still alive and no sign of leaf nibbles.

I've tried over makes and herbal makes but the one that seems to work well on slugs and snails is this brand.

I put this down th try and get some slugs. They are a real pain. I think seems to working but only just put it down

Just in time to get rid of slugs. They obviously like the pellets as they leave my plants alone. No dead bodies to be seen. Good stuff.
