I have always been a fan ( sorry! ) of rooms without ceiling lights, and was able to purchase fans in the past without attached lights. I found this one and was tickled to death with the simplicity and quality of this unit ( as was my contractor ). It was simple to install, and he commented more than once about the look and feel of it. Most of all, it works like a charm. It's silent during operation, looks great, and most of all gets the job done. With 6 speeds you can experience a light breeze or a full blown tornado. During the winter, you need to reverse the direction ( counterclockwise as you stand below and look up ) in order to move warm air around the room, and the remote makes it simple. The old fan required standing on a ladder and messing with a switch on the motor to flip the direction. Not this baby! Boom...check out the pic of the remote in the details of their description. Easy to install - look very nice on the patio.

I purchased this set of fans because I needed 4 for my patio and was limited to having to get a small fan due to low ceilings - not to mention the low cost for a set of TWO! However - this is the PERFECT example of "YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR". The fans are attractive and are about what you would expect to get at this price point. HOWEVER, they are SUPER slow and BARELY move any air at all. The motors are so small you can't even tell where they are! If you are buying fans for your patio because you want to make your patio bareable in the summer (I live in South Florida) - do not get these fans. They will serve as nothing more but pure decoration for your ceiling! Buy individual fans and if possible, stick to a WELL KNOWN brand that actually states the CFM of the fan. Spend a little more and avoid yourself the hassle of being dissapointed and having to return these useless fans!

Great price. Wish there was some way to work them without the remote and they each have their own so not interchangable

These fans work perfectly in our gazebo!Not hard to put together. It makes our gazebo nice and breezy on a hot summer day!

Added these to the roof top of our houseboat. Remote work great. Only issue for the possible future is if the remotes do not work, there is no other way to adjust the fans.

So quiet. Now all fans match and work great. I didn’t pay attention to the 6 speed feature when I ordered them. I’m very happy to have that option. I was not the one who installed them but watching, it didn’t take him long at all. In fact my contractor ordered some for his house. I did have to purchase longer drop polls. It would have been nice to have that included. Overall, I would buy them again.
