I needed to replace my dishwasher silverware compartment and this fit the bill. It fits well in my mini GE dishwasher and has plenty of room for silverware. I like that the slots are different sizes to accommodate various handles. Quality is a little flimsier than original but overall I think it will last ages !

I go through so much silverware in my house, from daily cooking. the small basket you get default with a dishwasher is nice, but this just adds to it. let's me double the silverware I can do at once. Great product, holds up perfectly well. pretty much as advertised

The lid portion is extremely thin and most of the holes don't fit silverware handles. Only a few slots are large enough to hold silverware.

The biggest problem with our new Whirlpool DW is that the utensil basket on the door is so shallow it generally gets overloaded and the utensils come out dirty. I am hoping that this basket, which appears well made (though the hinge on the flap looks quite weak) will give us lots of utensil room for the heavy loads. It did not fit especially well over the rack, but I did find a place in the back where it seamed to work well. Whether or not it will solve the initial problem remains to be seen. This problem is something that Whirlpool should look into as the ratio of dishes to utensil basket is a problem.

This review is for Ulimymei model 1598. I have a countertop dishwasher that comes with a cutlery basket that fits only a small handful of silverware pieces. As I am not using Ulimymei silverware basket for a standard-size dishwasher, I cannot say if it fits a particular model.The design allows for the basket to be split into two separate sections. I am using the smallest of the two sections in my countertop dishwasher. The larger section features a sliding top, offering the perfect solution for accommodating additional silverware, items with larger handles, and more. However, I found that the plastic grid on the bottom is too small to fit over the existing dishwasher grate pegs. I intend to create larger openings in the plastic mesh which will enable me to perfectly accommodate the basket in the smaller dishwasher.The strong plastic material makes the basket durable and able to withstand many dishwasher cycles without problems. The basket is sturdy enough to securely hold silverware while it dries, making it a convenient option for use on a drying mat, too.

Our dishwasher was missing the basket and this replacement is really good. Can fit a lot in it, and it’s made of a good strong plastic. Built in handle is helpful for carrying over to empty contents in drawers.

I don't have an extra at my new house, so decided to get an extra one.This is a good sized basket. It only fits on my bottom rack, but thats what I had planned anyway.It's sturdy and designed well. The lids stay close or open well. I'm very happy with it. Very much like one that would come with a dishwasher.

Perfect replacement for my old, worn out silverware basket. It looks nearly identical to the one that came with my whirlpool dishwasher, and fits like a glove into the same space. The heating element had warped the bottom of my old basket over time, and silverware was beginning to slip through the bottom slots. I’m so happy to have found an affordable replacement without having to go through the manufacturer.
