Overall nice pergula for the money
Like that the instructions come with a video demonstration. I am a visual person. Overall the pergula is nice and fit my patio perfectlyDislike- the install. You definitely need at least two people to put it together or else you will be like me and it will take you a whole week to finish by yourself (because you will get frustrated and take a day or two off). Also the peices are very fragile. Push to hard on them and they will start to splinter. This thing does not block sunlight. You will still need to buy a separate shade

Started falling apart after first rain storm
Great idea, but horrible product material. This "cedar" is either hollow (definitely the posts, but the slats are extremely breakable, too) or just plain cheap, because we had this professionally assembled and it started crumbling after the first rain with wind. We had to start taking broken pieces apart bit by bit and using something else to hold spots together - ultimately ending up with only the shell of the original product with the broken criss-cross boards just sitting in our yard. Still not sure how to get rid of the mess it turned into... it's just a scattering of broken pieces now. If you are putting this up in a wind/rain protected area, go for it. Otherwise, get something that's solid wood... ANY kind of wood. I can't even burn it to get rid of it because I don't know what it's made of and am afraid it may create toxic fumes. Just don't.Pics are 1) after the first rainstorm - decided to "gut" it after the smaller boards came apart and just use the bigger parts of the frame over horse stalls after the rest just cratered, and 2) what's now left for me to find a way to burn.I hate to post negative reviews, but this was expensive - to purchase, to put together, and now to replace.

You get what you pay for..
It came in three boxes. The chemical smell was overwhelming, even outside. We had a pretty bad headache after unboxing while assembling.Several of the boards are cracked and the quality is ok. I’m not sure it will last for more than two summers. It was easy to put together. Took less than two hours and it looks decent.

Holding up great
So far, so good. Lots of weather here and it's solid as a rock. Grape vines will take 3 years to climb.

You get what you pay for!
It wasn’t terrible to put together and decently lightweight, however the wood splits very easily no matter how careful you are. I will be purchasing some wood planks to stabilize the beams, until then the picture shows my temporary solution.

Perfect
Looks amazing and fits the purpose for my garden. One of the shipments was delayed or lost and customer service was really good with sending out a new box. Love it!

Does exactly what it needs to do!
I purchased this to cover our vehicles from the elements. I added a red Gorilla tarp to repel the rain off. The wood was much lighter than I expected and I had to be careful not to use too much pressure when screwing all those screws in. Some of the very top pieces were warped but I used extra brackets to align more evenly. All in all, I'm satisfied with the outcome. This is definately not hard wood, but then again it wasn't $4000 + . I stayed within my budget, it does the trick, and I've received lots of compliments on it. Oh, and I did it all by myself, except for needing one more pair of hands to help hold the two 20 ft. pieces while I screwed in one end. I'm 64 3/4ths (insert smile here!)
