It is soft and wide and is actually a ramp with gentle rolling steps much like going up a hill. My older chihuahua finds it easy to go up or down. It is sturdy,not very heavy. The material is durable. It is soft and the color is very pretty.

They're extra wide and super sturdy with a durable which makes me feel better about my pet's safety. I have a 5lb dog and a 15lb younger pup.I'm sure they'll hold up well over time.Good price ! I recently purchased the Romrol Dog Stairs Ramp for Beds and Couches, and overall, I am quite satisfied with this product. The extra-wide pet steps fit my couch perfectly, and my 10-year-old dog, who weighs 23 lbs, was able to learn how to use it within just 10 minutes. The steps have a durable non-slip surface which gives my dog confidence while climbing up and down.This ramp has been especially beneficial given my dog's age. At 10 years old, he needs a little extra help getting up and down from the couch, and this product has made it much easier for him.However, I did notice that the stairs are a bit squishy, which causes them to shift slightly when my dog jumps on them. This might be an issue for heavier pets, as it was for my dog. To solve this problem, I used some velcro to keep the steps securely attached to my couch, which worked perfectly.Despite this minor inconvenience, I would still recommend the Romrol Dog Stairs Ramp. It has made it much easier for my dog to access the couch, and the durable, non-slip design is a big plus. Just be prepared to make a small adjustment if your pet is on the heavier side.

I got this ramp for my 10-yr-old mini aussie who has double hip dysplasia and is struggling to get on the couch for cuddles. We've tried different ramps, but this one is the winner.My favorite features:* It's made of a soft, yet very firm, material. (It's akin to an extremely overstuffed bean bag that won't let you sink into it.) This means that if he slips, the steps he will not hurt him.* Because of the materials, my dog can get a good solid grip with his paw pads.* The removeable cover goes easily on and off for frequent washing if needed.* The bottom is made of a slip resistant fabric which helps the ramp to hold its position securely while the dog is walking up. Ours has never slid away.I'm quite happy with this ramp and I'd buy this same exact one again for my bedroom if they made a taller version.

I bought this for my older dog who “needs” to be on the bed according to him. These have been challenging for him to use though because it’s not firm enough and is too squishy or plush. When he jumps on he sinks down some making it just as hard to get on the bed. I will need to just purchase normal stairs for him.

I have had this up by the bed for several months now and it has worked out perfectly. The steps usually stay by the bed for the majority of the time but it is very easy to move around if you want to use it in another location yet it holds its spot in place while being used. The material has held up really well and has yet needed to be cleaned. No longer have to pick the babies up to lay in bed :)

Got this product due to having a small dog and a high bed. The dog now has an easy way to get up and off the high bed easily. The gray color is great for a neutral room, fits in the space well, and weighs almost nothing for how sturdy it is.

This product was well made, and it was easy to put the cover on, but because it's a foam material, it wasn't sturdy enough for my dog to feel secure when he tried to climb it. I ended up returning it. Easy return.
