Fit well, install not difficult
I am impressed. Great American product. Looks good, holds enough for shorter trips. Thank you Chase Harper USA

Roomy. Install easily. Great value!
These are well made, roomy. Fit very easily to the bike. I had no trouble installing them on my 2006 BMW K1200R. The way they install, they should pretty much fit any bike. Most importantly, they are not too tall to hit the exhaust. Excellent value. They look good too.

These are a great fit for a sport, or standard motorcycle.
These Chase Harper USA 3100's are a great option for the rider who owns a sport, naked, or standard bike, and doesn't need a bunch of storage. These are great for packing a lunch, and a camera for some short trips. They also are great for commuting to work. They will work without paniers, and fasten higher up on the bike. They are not thief-proof, but what is. These are the perfect size for this Kawasaki Z650RS. Other bags were too big, and hung down towards the tire, which is dangerous. Those other bags may say universal on them, but they are not. You need paniers for them. These American made bags come with a lifetime warranty, and seem to be made pretty well. I'd have given them 5 stars if they opened a bit wider, and the zippers were a little more trustworthy. I'll find out over time how well they hold up. For now, they will do the trick nicely. They are also less expensive than the cheep communist made trash from China. Why buy Chinese junk, when you can buy American for less?! I hope this review helps you make up your mind.

Great material and useful size
These bags are light and aerodynamic. The foam-like material is just stiff enough to hold its shape. The only improvement (for my unique application — Zero Sr/s) would to have a cross member support or side brackets. However, these worked fully loaded and without modification for 300 mile overnight. I would highly recommend as a much lighter alternative to hard luggage, providing you travel light and have a way of waterproofing (plastic bags/liner).

These are great!
My search is over! I wanted saddlebags that I could lock, put the yoke straps under the rear seat, have plenty of room, and NOT have those zippers to remove the bag.I put small padlocks thru the zipper leads...which basically locks the bags.I have a Yamaha FZ6R, and I could put the straps under the rear seat...which helps prevent from someone just walking off with them. Mine are all black, just like my bike. They look great! My bike doesn't have a rear fender, so I just changed up the side release buckles so they clip together behind the license plate. These bags are big & roomy, and well made. They don't slide around when I ride. Love 'em!

Look really good, can hold a good amount of stuff
Got this for my drz400sm I don’t have the pannier brackets so mounted them further forward on the rear fairings have one of the top straps under the seat the other is kinda under the seat but could be slid out. The rear straps are connected to the rear subframe under the fender. Fronts are on the rear peg mounts. I really like them they look great hold their shape pretty well can hold my jacket with pads but takes up the whole thing. I usually keep a hoodie and 32oz insulated water bottle in one and tools and other stuff in the other. I wouldn’t put too much weight in them without like an actual frame. I’ve put a six pack of cans in each bag and still had room for other stuff.

Great bags!
These bags are fantastic! They function very well, have a good amount of storage space, and are constructed very well (not waterproof or super resistant however). I put them on my 2006 Suzuki Katana 750. I put the connecting straps under the seat so I can leave them on all the time and tied the other straps off on some stable components. I bought some suitcase locks from walmart so that I can lock the zippers too. Yes I know that doesn't make them impenetrable but they are soft bags, if someone really wants to look inside they can just cut them open, or cut the straps and run.I usually keep a 62 oz water bottle, another visor, cleaning supplies for my visors, and some cable locks for my gear in them wit plenty of space left. I have also thrown cold weather pants and a spring/summer jacket in them with soft pads in them. The gear takes pretty much the entire space but it is possible. They have no problem at high speed either. I'll just say they were perfectly fine well over 100 mph.The only complaint I have is that they will fade, which I knew would happen. Mine faded after maybe 8 months, I have had them for about a year and a half. They turned a grey purple-ish color. I have yet to try to dye them back to black but it shouldn't be too hard or expensive.Overall they are great bags and well worth the money. I would definitely recommend them.

Opened on the freeway, melted and customer service is poor
I zipped the bags (always) with the zippers meeting at the top/12 o'clock. I may have left a gap between the zippers that allowed the right bag to work open on the interstate and rest on my exhaust for about 20 minutes. I lost all the contents of that side and the bag melted. I contacted Chase Harper to see if I could buy just one side since the bags were pretty new. The offered to replace the entire set for 1/2 price if ordered directly from the company and paid shipping both ways. Half of their retail is, unfortunately, about what Amazon sells the set for everyday...with free shipping. I decided to toss the bags instead. When I packed them in their original box to throw away, I found a factory card that claimed they had a lifetime repair or replacement warranty no matter the cause "no ifs, ands or buts." I emailed Chase Harper to ask why they tried to sell me a new set instead of honoring the stated warranty. I got a few "It's the holidays...we'll let you know something soon" and "I've forwarded your case to my manager" emails, then they stopped responding. Would not recommend these or any CH products to anyone.
