For a long time I was using some Swedish Dishcloths under my soap dispensers to absorb any water drips from daily use but this option was definitely not working for me. Even in a short period of time, small amounts of mold would form on the towels and honestly, it just didn't look great to me. I looked for a better option and found this Diatomite Stone Sink Tray and gave it a try. I really like how it looks with my stainless steel sink and it’s functional—really does the job absorbing and drying out the water droplets that fall on the plate. Perfect size and feels durable. It has definitely been an upgrade to my sink area and makes it look nicer!

These are unobtrusive visually. They don’t stand out of place. They are definitely functional. Very water absorbing. In my shower they hold slippery bars of favorite soaps. I would purchase them again for gifts.

My sink was supposed to be installed undermount. I was not home. The sink was not installed as I wished. Oh well. This has resulted in much water slopping around and sitting near the faucet due to the lip of the sink. I tried the silicon thing that is supposed to divert water(don't waste your money). These little stone coaster things are awesome! I sit my hand soap, dish soap bottle and sponge holder on them. I have had ZERO water puddles, water mess or general wetness. Even when the water droplets splash that way, they are quickly absorbed by the stone. I love them. I recommend them.

Here is my unique problem and solution(this tray thingy):When it rains water leaks through my wall and onto a shelf. After putting up with a discolored, water-soaked shelf for some time, I painted it and waterproof coated it.Now I have puddles.After putting up with that for some time, I stumbled upon this Diatomite tray. I put this where the leak forms, and yes! It absorbs all the water that spills in through the wall (Not a lot, maybe half a cup). It dies off within a few hours, which is amazing. Problem solved.P.S. for those of you saying, "Just fix the leak", it's coming from the roof. For those of you saying, "Just fix the roof, then", you have clearly never had to pinpoint a leak in an iron roof. For those of you saying, "Hire a professional already," Shut up, I'm poor. Why do you think I shop at Amazon?

These have become unusable due to the fact that they don’t actually absorb the water. The tops are covered in moldy black spots because the water doesn’t dry. Don’t waste your money!

Was extremely excited to get these for my kitchen sink, there’s always water drips from the countless hand washes and whatnot. It’s not a true white, more of an off white/cream color. Stains easily, never looks clean due to the color, just looks dingy. Does however dry quickly.

Purchased these to go in 2 bathrooms where electric toothbrush heads are stored. It catches and absorbs water well. The pack comes with little adhesive feet so that the stone is not sitting flat on a surface.
