Best find ever on metal stamps.Pros:-Sturdy shafts which are clearly marked with the letters/numbers/symbols/font size facing you while you use them-Shaft size makes them easier to grip and stabilize-Crisp impressions-The carrying case is substantial and exceptionally well made. It has raised, clearly marked slots where each stamp goes and holds them securely.-Easy to stay organized before, during and after use-Industrial grade CR-V chrome vanadium steel with a smooth finish-Can be used to imprint steel (as well as soft metals, wood, jewelry, etc.). Most stamps being sold cannot withstand marking steel.-Excellent value.Cons:-I didn't buy these first.As per the photo....The Owl stamps are 1/4 inch font vs the blue box 1/8 inch font. Regardless, look at the difference in quality for paying $7 more retail price. That said, larger fonts are generally more expensive and the Owl kit also includes 3 more stamps than the blue box stamps.Note also that all of the Pros I included in my review were not present in the blue set which sadly didn't even include a lid for the box.

I have to tag things for work on brass tags. This is a good set. The case makes it great. A little big but I can get the punch I need fast. Recommended.

Nice set of stamps. Sturdy (large) case keeps letters in order and secure.Nice clear imprint on brass tags.

Super easy to use decent looking case I have not been able to see the longevity of these but with the first use they seem to do what they are made to.

Looks like I am the first non Vine reviewer. The difference between this 1/4" punch set and most of the other 1/4" punch set on Amazon is that this one has 1/4" letters and the others have 1/4" shafts and clearly smaller letters. That does make this set noticeably heavier as the shafts are almost 3/8". The set weighs 4 1/2 pounds where my set with the 1/4" shafts is 1 1/2 pounds. This is a much better set.I bought them to stamp some light aluminum and they did a fine job. My feeling is that this set will cost twice what I paid once more non Vine people review it. I see similar sets online for closer to $100. In my case, I could have paid the $29 and had someone else stamp what I needed but now I have a nice set of stamps.

To be a cheap set, it does a good job.. solid lettering..deep ..I was surprised..I used it to stamp 3/8 steel.. crispy...yes I would recommend it..
