A little clunky
You get what you pay for. It grates cheese very fast. But I guess I have small hands because trying to grip it tight enough to grate the entirety of the cheese, it takes more effort than I thought. Good product for the value

Works great but a bit delicate
This shredder works as advertised, but I suggest being a bit delicate with it. The plastic is not super solid. I have shredded vegetables and cheese without issue. Hard cheeses obviously. Soft cheese in any shredder is usually a disaster in my experience.

Simple Yet Affective
I was thinking of getting a cheese grater after seeing others go semi viral on Tik Tok. I wanted one that was small didn’t have to hook up to the counter top and didn’t come with a million pieces. This greater was inexpensive small and very easy to clean. Pretty positive a child could use it, and I don’t feel like I’m going to get cut while grading the cheese.

Update: I do not recommend
Update: The round blade came apart from the end cap that the crank screws into, rendering it unusable. Even if it were free I would not use it.Flimsy. It’s difficult to squeeze the holder and handle together to give it the requisite pressure to hold cheese against the grate and it’s not sturdy. Even when you manage the dexterity to do that, at least for cheddar cheese, the cheese does not all exit the grater barrel, less than half does, and much of it gets stuck either in the barrel, or around it, between the barrel and the housing. There’s no way to get the grated cheese out of the inside of the barrel except to get a small utensil and dig it out. Same for area between barrel and housing. I imagine this is not as big a problem as hard cheese, such as Parmesan.

Wish I bought this sooner
Great product - very light weight which might feel cheep at first, but it's surprisingly sturdy! I love the 2 grading options. It is SUPER easy to use, to switch out wheels and surprisingly easy to clean! More often than not I just rinse it under the faucet - not wiping required. I hope this is helpful

A little difficult to turn with arthritic hands
It's nice to have fresh grated cheese so I appreciate it. It's hard to turn with my arthritic hands and the cutting wheel falls out because it's hard for me to keep the wheel pressed in. It's held in only by the handle which doesn't lock in, so you have to press down hard on the cheese, and press in the handle in as you turn the handle. The cutting wheel is sharp and stainless steel which will not rust.

Awesome product
Bought this so I didn’t have to use the board type shredder because I have issues with my hands and prior hand surgery and I had shredded cheese to make my Alfredo sauce in seconds and not minutes. Love it! Thank you

Was cheap, feels cheap, is cheap!
I’ve been reading some articles about the anti-caking agents used in bags of pre-shredded cheese and decided to start shredding my own.I selected this one because it was similar to a device I had many years ago. It’s important to me that it’s dishwasher safe and I liked that it could be converted for right or left handed users as we have both in my family.Upon receipt I was disappointed to feel how lightweight it was. It’s been through the dishwasher a few times, but it’s hard to imagine that the force required to squeeze and grind cheese will hold up over the long run, especially with high heat exposure. As of the first use the knob keeps popping off the handle when I’m trying to turn it which is extremely annoying - the device is clunky and not smooth at all to operate. Does it shred cheese? Yes. Has it shattered in my hands yet? No. So it keeps a couple stars.I’ll keep using this one until it breaks or until my patience finally runs out and I upgrade because I have a low tolerance for inefficient kitchen gadgets taking up space.(If you look at my reviews I tend to be pretty forgiving, but I take my weekly cheese pizzas and nacho construction really seriously and this was unacceptably disappointing.)
