The marine wire was a great price, just the size I needed, and arrived quickly.

I have no concerns with the quality of the wire. It's very flexible given that it's two 10AWG insulated wires inside of an additional PVC outer jacket. On the other hand, the wires each have 105 strands (!!!) which, while it adds some resistance (see below), does make the wire very pliable. The overall size is about the same as 14/3 Romex.While I haven't used the wire for my solar project yet, I've verified continuity in the two strands...and that's pretty much all I need to know at this point! FWIW: one of my multimeters reported 0.3Ω resistance when I jammed the probes into the center of the strands on either end of the cable; the other reported 0.2Ω. The spec sheet says around 4Ω/KM.2x100' of 10AWG tinned copper is not cheap, but the price for this particular wire is similar to what I've seen from other manufacturers.4.5 stars. Good wire for DIY solar and boat projects. While the outer jacket of the wire itself doesn't have a UL listing, the manufacturer says it's made to UL 1426 standards. I guess we'll have to take their word for it: minus 1/2 star for that!

Ok, I'm old. I admit it. "Tinned Copper" to me means Tinned Leads - like there's solder on there already. Anyway, I needed this to make new extensions for my solar panels, and this wire was great for that. I'm super impressed with the heft of the wire, as well as the insulators on it.

I wanted marine grade wire, and this is a good weight for moderate amperage circuits. It's easy to handle and seems well made.

This is a 100-ft roll of duplex 10-gauge marine wire made of tinned copper strands with a really thick protective outer jacket.The jacket makes it a little stiffer than I was expecting, but you can be assured the wires will be protected due to the high quality jacket.The wire strips easily and appears to be high quality. I found this wire (14AWG) to have a tougher than usual outer casing, yet was very flexible. This should make it excellent for abrasion resistance. In all other ways, the wire did what you'd expect. It was the correct diameter, stripped well, and accepted crimps nicely.
