The pole assembles in pieces, the base is a plate which holds by bolts. Each section makes it higher and higher until full desired height. Recommended for ease of assembly.

I live in a condominium community located on a cul-de-sac and on a private street. There are a few areas that are poorly lit, and we've sought cost-effective solutions to add lighting. Solar streetlights seem to be an ideal solution, but getting and installing a pole has been an issue. This product is perfect for that purpose, as it provides a strong, stable base for the light and at the proper height yet makes it manageable to access the light as needed for maintenance or replacement.Assembling and installing the pole is fairly straightforward. The trickiest portion is digging out a space for the base, then leveling the base and adding quickset concrete. If the buried portion isn't perfectly straight, the pole won't be either! However, once this is done and set, it's relatively easy to assemble the pole. It will take a couple of people to lift, position and hold the pole while it's attached to the base. The design of the pole and base ensures that it's grounded in the event of lightning strikes.Based upon our experience, I would (and likely will) order this again as we add more lighting to those "dead zones" on our street. Our goal is to have a safe, well-lit community where homeowners feel safe to walk at night, and this is a key part of our solution.

This thing is great. All you need is a bag or 2 of maximizer concrete and it’ll stay in place for decades. Comes with a premade form for a strong base, just dig a 2’ x 18" round post hole for a base that’ll last years, drop in the form and then backfill with the rest of the concrete. It’ll dry within 24hrs but cures in 48, you can assemble the light post. I have a 200w solar lamp similar to the one in the picture except it has a 15w solar panel mounted above it. The light kits like this come with u-bolt mounts that fit these posts perfectly. Assembly was very easy and once in place doesn’t really require anything else. Now we have full light in our entire backyard with a light this high and I also ran a separate line of string lights to the top of the post and it really looks great. Highly recommend this product, it’s a great way to light up your yard with a professional look.
