My granddaughter was showing this to me on Tic Tok and thought it was so cool. She loves art and creating and this present did not disappoint!!! It comes with everything you need to be as creative as you want AND directions for those that may need a little help (like me!).This is a project that is not a quick paint and you’re done - this will keep your young ones occupied for a few days worth of no screen time! The finished product is so cool and then writing your own story just adds to the fun!

This is such a cool ocean craft for older kids. Paint, build your book, pose the animals and create something truly unique! The paint is great quality. The paper is thin, but it works because it allows the paint to blend well. There are all kinds of tutorials to help with inspiration. In my opinion, it is overpriced for what it is, but you do get all that you need to create a book of your own!

I am an aunt to a special little boy. I bought this because everything came included, it’s very unique, and it will make a great birthday gift this year.

My husband works for SpaceX, so I am always on the lookout for STEM crafts and projects related to space. This kit is AWESOME! It came with everything we needed: paints, pages, mini-brads, paint markers, etc. It’s not a quick craft - one that takes multiple days to create, making it a more thoughtful experience. The completed Tunnel Book at the end is so unique and sits perfectly on display in a shelf. The 3D space shuttle, satellite and astronaut are a nice touch and are fun to play with and move with the mini-brads. It was a pleasure doing this project with my kids!

We got this for our 9yo. She loves to paint and create unique things. The paper does take paint and marker well, but the pages are pretty thin for the price of the kit. She loved decorating every page individually, and used an increasingly darker pallet for each layer. The creatures were fun to pose, and the whole book took her days to finish. She was a bit disappointed in the finished result, so I came up with a way to create a cover like a book would have. Now the finished product is more like a real book and she loves it!

This is so cheap. For the price I expected the pages to have the thickness of board books or puzzle pieces, but they are flimsy and painting/assembling the pieces is more work than the finished result is worth. For context, at the price currently being charged I could get a wooden book nook kit with motion-sensing LEDs, but this is a collection of pre-cut papers only a bit thicker than construction paper, some brads, three rings, three paint pens, and a watercolor paint palette. I wouldn’t expect to pay any more than fifteen dollars for what I received. I would guess that an 8-10 year old might have the patience, skill, and coordination to put this together, but even at that age I’m not sure they would feel the finished product was worth it.

The tiny joint pieces are hard for little hands to work with so plan on being involved unless the crafter is 10 or older. In our case it's been a fun activity for dad to do with the boys, and we're not done even after working on it periodically for several days. The cons are that I think the directions are barely adequate (though we've been able to figure it out so far). This is also expensive for the materials involved. if you're willing to tackle it alongside younger crafters, and don't mind having to figure things out a bit as you go, this is a fun and substantial project.

This is a great activity to do with your little ones. The material provided has everything you need and its good quality. The kit lets the kids imaginations come out to play and they get a hands on experience. Leaving you with memories and a beautiful book to enjoy.
