This awning is working out great! My front door faces West, and when the sun starts setting, it shines directly on my front door making it so hot that it is hard to touch my door knob.. Putting together the awning was not that hard, but I would suggest watching the video on how to do it first. I would also suggest having two people put it together. The crank handle makes it easy to roll it up and down and once installed, the awning is very sturdy. However, the awning does not roll down so it is vertical, making it somewhat useless when the sun is about to set. To remedy that, I am purchasing a small tarp to attach to the bottom to act as a removable curtain so I have shade no matter what. . All in all, I am glad I bought it.

Instructions need to be updated and items should be labeled but once assembled it works perfect for what I needed it for. Would give 5 stars if the Instructions weren't so confusing.

This is exactly what I was looking for! I will be ordering a second. The directions were a bit unclear and confusing; only pictures no descriptions. I will know better the second time putting it together! The product itself is fantastic! It has mainly been used for rain so I am not sure how it will fair against the sun in terms of fading.

Here we go...-Does this look good? Of course. Gives nice shade, and it's a good size-Was this easy to set up? Somewhat...I did have a little bit of struggles trying to get the rod to go into the metal tubing but after that it was alright-Are the instructions clear? Definitely NOT! The instructions are HORRIBLE! The steps are ALL OVER the place!-Time it took to build it? Around an hour give or take...Will need 2 people to prop it up, adjust height and fix into placeOther than that. It's ok for what it is

Instructions are unclear and the poles are not sturdy. The fabric is low quality. The rubber ends do not stay on, and it is difficult to adjust the height.I definitely do not recommend. I truly wanted to like it, but now I can’t wait to send this pain in the neck back.

I love this product. The feet kept coming off when I was trying to place it outside, but other than this the set up and installation was super easy. It works so good. My life has greatly improved since the purchase of this product.

Fast shipping. Item arrived as advertised. I purchased this retractable awning to protect my swimming pool equipment from direct sunlight, especially during the Summer months. It dies exactly that. My only concern is longevity. Strong winds will surely rip the material of this awning.
