12V Fuel Transfer Pump Set, Moves Up to 120 Gallons of Gas or Diesel Per Hour with 80W DC Motor, Suitable for Vehicles, Boats, Equipment, Gasoline, Diesel (Pump and Hose)

Works great for my purposes. I use it to transfer gasoline from large storage containers into my gasoline generator. I even bought a 12 V DC battery to use to transfer the gasoline. I thought this item was well priced and it works as described.

The pump is rather small. However once assembled it does move liquid quite quickly. I tested it by moving 5gal of gasoline from a jerry can into my generator. The generator fill cap is around 5' off the ground (it's a big generator) so lifting a 5 gal can that high without spilling any is non trivial. I have been standing the can on top of the generator and siphoning it. This is much easier and faster (can stays on the ground).I also plan to use it to fill the diesel tank on my tractor, which is even more difficult to fill, same problem, high off the ground, but also nowhere good to place the diesel can for siphoning, and difficult to get to with a 5 gal can held over your head!The one rather odd thing is that the feet are loose. They slot into a track on the motor body. The provision of the screws and the strap strongly suggest that the vendors assume that you are going to screw this down to something. If I come across a suitable bit of wood or metal I might do just that.

Bought this pump to extract about 50 gallons from the fuel tank of my boat. I ended up having to connect to the existing 5/8" fuel line on the boat, which required that I purchase an adapter kit ( https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08CK4Q1ZV ) to adapt to the half inch hose that is shipped with the unit. Also, knocked one star off the rating because the o-ring for the the brass pagoda was missing, requiring that I go to a local store to get the necessary washer. (It leaks without it.) Other than that, the pump worked great, taking around 3 minutes to fill a 5-gallon gas can. Quite easy to use, I'll be using it again anytime I need to drain fuel from my generator, log splitter and other power equipment I have.

The media could not be loaded. Used to pump Avgas from a tank to a mobile refueling station. Works as it supposed to do, The kit comes with about 5 m hose, complete hardware, and two filters. The 12 V electric wiring has an additional external pump switch for remote operation of the pump. Great pump for a good price.

This is a nice little transfer pump - complete with some hose, a lighter plug and a battery clip adapter to power it.It seems to draw a bit more power than the 80W - it took 10A to start the motor even without liquid (it has residual oil in it from testing)The flow rate is nice for yard equipment tasks - 2gal/min would be very slow for large equipment but for smaller tanks its fine and larger pumps are almost too fast to fill small tanks without spilling.Cable is designed to give you convenient switching near the output end of the hose for control.This is probably completely OK for motor oil, kerosene and diesel fuel but I'm somewhat concerned about gasoline - it says that its fine but there are some missing safety precautions for a more flammable fuel.The motor is mounted with rubber isolation feet to absorb vibrations and keep it quiet. The pump is a plastic housing with plastic connections.There is a shielded switch on the back of the pump and a plug in DC connection for power.The cord mounted switch is not a protected "explosion proof" switch.The fact that the cable could unplug from the pump, the switch isn't protected and there are no provisions for grounding the pump makes me cautious using this with gasoline (which is what I got it for).There is no nozzle or shutoff on the end of the hose, so it won't build up additional pressure but you need to be able to switch off the pump to stop the flow.For less flammable fuels and oil? It's probably perfectly fine and it works well - for gas, I'm only going to use it in an open area outside.

the second pump i got first one did not work out of the box the second one quit on the 36th day and guess what it only has a 30 day warranty this junk do not buy
